The Emperor who fought the Great Coffee War

The walls of the City were left without a single coffee beans seller, the emperor felt love for his Peoples having to obey his wish to the last drop, but at night, he had a smell of something that made the cloud spin while he felt like having a taste, he called out to his servant who was standing with a rifle around his neck at the entrance of the palace.
"could you tell me what this smell has?" he asked him. looking at him with an immediate response.
"With due respect my emperor, this smell has something to do with your disloyalty, it is the smell of coffee." He answered.
The emperor entered his room and called a council meeting in the morning, when all his king's men were gathered in his palace, he went out and continued the discussion of the day, he began by telling them, the aroma he had last night, he called it "the magical smells". He sees why most people were not happy the day he broadcast the statement from the office of the president.
I know that some of us here in our house have not yet given up the consumption of coffee beans, I am your emperor and it is my duty to pass this law, but at times like this, "what should I do? I do not want anything to happen to each one of us because if you violate laws there is a penalty for that, before I started serving this land as its dear emperor, my father told me that the best way to rule in peace is not to go against the law of the central government and that's what I've been doing ever since.
One of the elders raised his hand when the emperor asked for his opinions, he said, "with all due respect my emperor, since you have presented this agenda today, it would clarify the whole matter, it is true that the consumption of coffee beans is prohibited in our country, but it is also true that each and every one of us here never went a day without drinking coffee, except you, His Majesty.
Other elders stood up and said, "your majesty, without these aromatic coffee beans put into our system we will die, we cannot live without them, all the elders said. "We need this to live our lives." It was then the emperor, being a man for his people, he allowed these prohibition items in the land, the family planted it and drank as much as they wanted as a family, but it was to remain secretly only within the land.
One morning a troop entered the emperor's palace and took him away, the community tried to stop their way, the troop opened fire and everyone fled, it was an arrest from the presidential office when a report came to them that a particular city could not comply with the law of the land, the emperor being a member of the royalty had to meet with the president, he was not beaten or touched the president had a few words with him, but it was the law that he had violated, so he has to face the law.
The emperor was imprisoned for allowing the consumption of coffee beans in his land, his people could not take it anymore, they demanded that their emperor be released, they began to protest all over the country, all the men, women and children agreed to march from their homes to the country capital, some could not get to the capital of the country, some got sick but few make it there, others people's from the neighboring city join the protests, the house of assembly knows that things were getting out of control.
They passed a bill that says that all men and women, children can consume coffee beans freely, the news reached the people through radio, television, emails and text messages, it was a day of victory for the citizens of the country Nigeria, Ebube, the emperor who had a caring heart and was willing to die for his people was released.
He returned to his palace with love and peace, the coffee beans were free for everyone to consume, history wrote about him as the man who defended the people in the coffee war up to the point of risking his life.
This is my entry in the Spillthebeans Contest, I invite @teknon to participate in this fun Initiative. Thanks.

Oh he was ready to die for his people just to make sure they stay happy. That's a good leader there. Thanks for the invite 💙

I'll try my best. Thanks again
That emperor had a lot of love for his subjects, because a world without coffee is not a world :D
Thank you very much for this story, it reminded me a lot of nelson mandela's life.
He was ready to die just to see that his people are happy, but his fight turned out to be victorious, he opened the eyes of everyone and people were happy again.
Thank you for your comments.
