The results of unknown - New in a particular State
I could remember when i first travel to Benue state, that was in 2019 during my NYSC scheme, I was finding it difficult in doing the things I wanted to, as i did not know the lifestyle of the people of Benue state.
The duration I took before I arrived at Benue
The duration was fourteen hours.
I left my state at 6 Am and i arrived at Benue 8 Pm, when I arrive I was totally feeling hungry and without even going to clear myself at the Orientation Camp entrance, I left my box with one of the security man, and told me I am hungry I need to find a place in the town and eat, he gave me his number if in case I do not see him at the main entrance when coming back i should call him.
I bought a cab and headed to the town where I can assess delicious meal, because One thing about me is that , I love food so much....
I asked the cab man to take me to where I can find a good restaurants, he took me to Makurdi, that is the state capital, and Markurdi is far far away from Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area.
Behold he did understand what I was looking for, honestly, the meal cooked in that restaurant was one of a kind, such that i hardly forgetten up till now.
It was a great place, and when I mean great, I mean awesome, the meal I was served was more than the price, I eat and eat and eat but what I didn't know was that, the cost of foods items, including meal is cheaper than that of Akwa Ibom State and Rivers State, since I used to stay in one of these States depending on the urgency at times.
I did enjoy Benue back then, it was one the experience I had during my orientation Camp days, it was from there, I realized that Calling Benue state, the food basket of Nigeria is really true.
I mean that land is fully blessed with many many food crops, their food crops blessings is in abundance and such that can be boost of.
What is the unknown experience here
The unknown experience here is the fact that, food items in Benue state is cheaper than that of others State in Nigeria.
And, this is what I didn't know.
Since Benue state is the food basket of the country and it makes me love the state so much.
