Don't forget to convert yer (old) AVA tokens to ETH! It's Easy!

Just in case you've been sitting on any BEP20 or BSC AVA (Travala) tokens on an exchange or in a wallet, basically anywhere other than on the Travala site, then YOU NEED TO CONVERT THEM TO NEW AVA (ETH) TOKENS.

It's not urgent, you still have around nine months from now to do so, but I just did this myself as it's one of those tasks better done sooner than later.

The process is very easy... all you have to do is to send your old BNB/ BSC AVA tokens to your wallet on the Travala.com website and they convert them to the new ETH versions. I just tried it and the whole process was done within 15 minutes.

NB if all your AVA tokens were already in your Travala wallet on Travala.com they have already been converted to the ETH versions.

The important bit of the process...

Login to Travala.com and go to your wallet. Click the 'AVAOLD' option and the right network.

In my case it was BEP2....

You then just have to enter the address and memo displayed (once you've clicked 'OK' in the box above) into your sending wallet.

I was sending from Trust Wallet and was able to just scan QR codes and so it was dead easy.

I did a test send and within 15 minutes...

Travala to ETH final thoughts...

Well it's good for security terrible for moving them about going fowards.

NB I think you can still convert old AVA tokens to the new even after the swap deadline as closed, you just have to contact support, but to my mind it's easier to do it this way NOW to guarantee the swap goes ahead.

You don't want to be left holding old-chain tokens you can't use!

I have AVA in a ThorChain pool. Do I need to convert it as well?

That'll be BNB AVA I think, I had some, it won't be supported a few months from now, also it's going to be declining in volume so I guess it's higher risk in that pool, obs DYR first but I pulled mine a while back!

what are the fees? i think i have like 50$ of it on Binance, maybe it will be better to change it to hive or something...

If it's BNB it's free to send it to the Travala.com site where it's converted to the ETH version, but then it's ETH fees from that point to convert it back to something else!
