Nervous 90s... Happy November Hive Power Up Day!

I opted for a relatively small Power Up of just 20 Hive this month... I'm well ahead of my 100K EOY target and so feel like I can ease off a little, and with the markets looking lively it's a good time to keep Hive liquid!

HP Progress October 2023...

I started off the month of October with 97600 HP and ended up with 98900, which is a gain of 1300 HP, which is about what I've been adding on average each month throughout 2023, so I'm happy this is continuing!!!

I've also managed to stack a fair few HBDs too!

Holozing....

I really like the sound of the new Game on Hive soon to released by @acidyo so I staked 50K HP to get the ZING drop, I managed to finish off the month my selling everything I'd unstaked on day 1 of the drop, making around 500 Hive over the first couple of days!

This will help fund the purchase of some more Zing later on, once the price drops by 30 times or so it's early price. I did well there! And some of it's put by for whatever kind of starter packs are put in place once the game releases!

The downside of staking for Zing is that I lose half my curation rewards, but I'll scale back the delegation throughout November!

A good time to keep Liquid Hive...

With BTC looking lively it's a better time to keep Hive liquid I think rather than powering up huge chunks! (Sorry!).

I mean with a near 30% price increase that's been sustained for nearly a fortnight now...

And with Hive up 10% since the beginning of October, there's a change we may well see Hive over $0.40 sometime in November. my own sell-orders don't start until $0.52, and even those are paltry, but whatever your targets having more liquid ATM seems like a good idea, hence the small power up...

Come on Hive!

October Writing on Hive

I've enjoyed my writing on Hive in October more than any other month. I injected a bit of the old self-discipline into the process this month, having decided it's time to update my 2014 series on Early Retirement Extreme.

As a result I've produced several posts on money, earnings, savings, and the capacity of the average person to retire early, these days, which has reduced significantly over the last few years!

And then there was that nice BTC pump a couple of weeks back now, and that's added some impetus to write on crypto topics.

Hopefully this will all continue into November and the into Winter too!!!

Looking forward to 100K...

I estimate I'll hit 100K maybe just before December Power Up Day I think, maybe just after!

Progress will be slower this coming month because of my nerfed curation returns and the increased price of Hive means I earn fewer Hive per post.

But it's coming! So on we roll!!!
