Is it better to focus on long-term gain or short-term profit? If you invest and think for the long run, that's great. But you need to generate cash inflow. You have a family to take care of, you have to rent, utility bills, and so on.

If you cannot make short-term profits or generate cash inflow, it will be difficult to meet your daily expenses. From a business perspective, it is the same. You have to have sufficient cash inflow, otherwise, you cannot run your business. On the other hand, you have to invest for the long term to build wealth. Having a combination of short-term and long-term is always better.

If you ask me about crypto, I believe in long-term gain even my thoughts are the same for real estate as well. Of course sometimes short-term is good but I can't take that huge headache :D

Sometimes the price movement feels like crazy in crypto. From the analysis, you can guess the price movement and it is a probability. Exactly when and how the price makes its move is uncertain. In the long term, you have a more clear idea.

I belive that in the crypto world too many people look at the very short term and they don't realize that they should dedicate a small part of their earnings for the long term plan as well.

The Crypto market just crashed. In a short term, it is really scary. The marker can dip, but no one expects the price would go down that far. The whole picture is bright in the long term. Thank you @achim03 for sharing your thoughts!
