Accept That You Can’t Always Have Things Your Way
You are doing something. Everything goes well. You expect a good result. But in the end, you see the result is different. This is not what you want. And you did not expect that. It just happens. So how do you feel now?
You feel bad, right? Maybe you are kind of disappointed. The thing is, you cannot control the outcome. What you can totally control are your action and reaction. Accept that you cannot always get things in your way. You can manipulate to get things done, but that’s not a good practice. And you will not like the ultimate outcome. Instead of manipulating, find other ways to do your thing. You cannot do everything. Sometimes you have to say no. On the flip side, other people also say no when you expect them to do something. They have their boundaries. Respect their space. Let them do their thing and you do yours.
