So I paid a visit to a friend who happens to be a seed dealer. He works with a major seed company East West Seeds which I happen to be a good customer.

Their seeds are very good, because it is well adapted to our climatic conditions and has high pest and disease resistance than most other seed companies.

Although, the visit was a fun visit, we talked about the upcoming "Gardener's Field Day" he is planning to organize for gardener’s in the area so he can showcase the effectiveness of his company's seeds.

We then talked about gardening practice, of which I told him I was a core organic gardener then an argument broke out.

He argued that been an organic farmer isn’t sustainable in a large scale and that the market for organic product isn’t encouraging,

that both organic and inorganic product are been priced the same, and there is more stress with the organic farming than the inorganic,
so he will prefer using chemical fertilizer as it helps his crop do well.

Also, that poultry manure isn’t 100% organic since there are some inorganic component in their feed, so it doesn’t make it 100% organic.

Although I agreed with him that the market for organic product isn’t encouraging down here as there is no price disparity between the two, but taking our health into consideration I will highly prefer to be an organic farmer, because I know the health benefits of eating organic foods, and would want people to eat it too.

I know one day organic products will be given it due price recognition in the market .😁.

After our argument, I then helped him to apply some chemical fertilizers (urea) to his pepper plants. ; This is actually the first time I would be applying chemical fertilizer to a plant as I have been used to organic manure all my life😃.

It was fun though, but I still prefer using organic manure..
