Feeding My Noiler Birds With Black Soldier Fly Larvae.

Hello Hivers!!
Welcome to my blog..

So today i decided to try feeding my noiler birds with the black soldier fly larvae although it wants my intention to start feeding them with it now, I had planned that when there reach at least 4 weeks old then I can introduce them to the bsf larvae for them to start enjoying the goodness it has.

But unfortunately, we have a very big problems in our country, livestock keepers are experiencing a very terrible situation as it is difficult to get feed because of the flood ravaging parts of the country.
The place I do get feed from hasn’t had feed for the past 1week. Which is very bad for business, most of the truck are being stock on the road because of the flood.

So, I had to introduce them to the black soldier fly larvae earlier than planned as this will help me supplement my feeding cost.
Black soldier fly larvae has a wide range of uses racing from using it to feed fish, poultry, and pigs, there enjoy it very well.
The larvae is high in protein and other very essential minerals and vitamins which is very good for the noiler chicks.

The noiler birds never wasted any time to start eating the bsf larvae, like they could finish a hand full of larvae in seconds .
So, I do allow them free range in the daytime and put them back in the cage at night because of the dog.
