Feeding My Rabbits Grated Sugarcane Fiber..

avatar

Hello Hivers!;
Welcome to my blog..

So, today I decided to feed my rabbit the by-products of the sugarcane I used to make the molasses.

After pressing the juice out of the sugarcane the shaft that remains is rich in fiber and fibre is one of the most important dietary need in rabbit feeding.

If what the rabbits eats often doesn’t have fibre in it, you will notice it in their drooping and their growth rate will not be as it suppose to be.

So feeding them feed which has high fibre content is good for the rabbits.

So, the sugarcane after extracting the juice from it, I had to allow it dry a bit in the sun to remove excess moisture that might still be there before feeding them to my rabbits.

There really enjoyed the sugarcane fibre because it had some little sweat taste too.
