Getting bamboo for staking my tomatoes and cucumber plants and applying BSF Fras as manure for my cucumbers..

Hello Hivers..
Welcome to my blog.
So, today I decided to start the staking process for the cucumber and tomatoes I intend transplanting any time soon, and I needed some bamboo for the staking.

Using bamboo is the easiest method to stake plants like cucumbers and tomatoes, but sometimes getting the bamboo can be a task and sometimes can cost a lot to get some.
But this time, I decided to get the bamboo myself, because I got some bamboo tree growing around my neighborhood.

I remember when we planted the bamboo around our neighborhood to help protect again erosion by rains, that was destroying some parts of out neighbor hood, I think it was time to keep the reward of my labor which I had contributed to a long time ago .

Getting the bamboo from the bushes was an uphill task because of the terrain and also because my cutlass wasn’t too sharp but I managed to get some bamboos for my staking.
Had to cut the bamboo in to 6f long, which will be the height of the staking for my tomatoes and for the cucumbers it was 7.5ft long of which 1ft of the length will be buried in the ground to keep it firm .

So, after cutting and burning the bamboo, I had to apply some black soldier fly larvae residue which is a very good source of organic fertilizers for my cucumbers, them mixed it gently with the soil and get it ready for transplanting of my cucumbers..
