The Pupae Continue To Produce More Flies, And Mating Has Already Begun.

Hello Hivers.!!
Welcome to my blog..!!

The number of black soldier flies has significantly increased since a few days ago when I first noticed the first batch of them emerging.

In Ernest, work has also begun on the flies.
The males are actively seeking ladies to mate with, and I must say that they are already doing a fantastic job.

At this time, as I already stated, what. The temperature is what speeds up mating. I've noticed that they are most active and make lots of bee-like buzzing noises when the temperature is between 29°C and 32°C.

The main thing to watch out for is that if the temperature rises above 35°C, the black soldier fly may begin to experience dehydration and, if they don't quickly drink some water, may perish.

Currently, my peak temperature is always around 32°C, but I am aware that during the dry season, I will experience a temperature problem. Fortunately, I have a humidifier for that situation, so when the time comes, I will introduce it.

However, if that is not possible, you can simply pour some water on the love cage's floor and put some leaves on its roof to lower the temperature inside so the flies won't fry out.

Alternatively, you can sprinkle or spray some water on the love cage specifically so the flies can easily have access to water and quench their thirst.

The flies are currently quite busy having affairs,😉 but hopefully in a few days we will start to harvest some eggs.

100% vote for this amazing post.

I have to say you are top of your game on this project!

And after you get production set up I can just see all sorts of amazing stuff that you can do from the proceeds of this project.

Absolutely aquaponics is in your future so I would suggest some learning about that however now you have unlimited fish food!!!!!

Which means that you feed the fish you get fish for dinner and the fish poop in the system continually fertilizes the soil and now you have another extremely valuable product that you need to remove from the system...

Dry that out and that fish emulsion is extremely expensive! Add some of that fish emulsion and some charcoal and you have biochar some of the most nutrient dense soil!

Just add natural silica and you have the best soil for crops ever!!!!

Aquaponics and biochar!

And that biochar you can just use weeds or brush!!!!

Thank you very much for the update! I think you got some amazing content here.

Yeah..
Would certainly do some research on the aquaponics and the fish emulsion and biochar I know there will be interesting projects to undertake..
Thanks for always supporting this thread.
