Christmas Party with Workmates
It's been a long time since we celebrated a Christmas Party in our company because of the restrictions of the government to not to engage in any contact events to avoid spreading the virus since we are still experiencing the worldwide pandemic. I remember last time, our company holds only a raffle event through online during that time.
Since we are little by little returning to normal like we normally used to, our company reached every sites/areas to hold their own Christmas Party events since they will not hold an Christmas Party event in the Main Branch, still due to that restrictions. Our company is very strict when it comes to that matters. The company provided all areas with funds that will be used during that event.
So our Supervisor planned a meeting the next day to discuss the date of the event, the foods and the things that we will do during that day. We all decided to celebrate it on Saturday (December 17, 2022), since we don't have work the next day. It's was okay for us even if it is just a simple celebration as long as we are all together celebrating it.
After our meeting
Last Saturday, we celebrated our Christmas Party here in our area in Pasig. After all of our work schedules was done. I went straight to C6 Road in Taguig City to buy again duck meat since they like to eat it. I bought three alive ducks and directly went home afterwards. At home we cooked all together the foods that we bought during that day. My co-workers cooked Caldereta, Adobo, Spaghetti, Chicharong Bulaklak and Grilled Pork meat.
Since we like to eat Jollibee, we bought three buckets of chickenjoy. Two buckets of Spicy chicken and one bucket of normal chicken for the kids.
After we all gathered together, we took first a group photo as a remembrance of us and it is also needed by the office. We enjoyed the food that we all prepare together a lot.
After we all have done eating, we had a drinking session while singing at the karaoke. Since I am not into any kinds of alcoholic drinks, I only drink a little as a respect to them. It was a fun, enjoyable and a memorable moment to all of us. I hope that everything will be back to normal already so that we can experience it all again next year.
Ending Thoughts
It seems only a short period of time but regardless of that we still managed to celebrate it, wearing our genuine smiles and been able to create new memories to treasure for our lifetime.
