Vila Nova de Milfontes beach and a safari.
A visit to Vila Nova de Milfontes beach and a safari.
A few days ago it was vacation time and my wife and kids and I decided to go for a drive to the south of Portugal to see Vila Nova de Milfontes beach.
It was spectacular with a calm sea for the kids to play and also the fine sand of an area that makes the bay a lot of fun for the kids.
The food was fantastic and this village with its tourist part but also a beautiful historical part was without a doubt a place we will go again.
The beaches around it are worth mentioning, which are for all tastes and on top of that we can practice canoeing and other sports.
It was about 4 days well spent so the trip was a little long with the stopover of almost 4 hours but it was well worth the trip as the landscapes are stunning.
Badoca Safari Park
Then, on the return day, we passed on the way and had to look at google maps and decided to go on a safari that was on the way home near Sines in Santo André which was spectacular, we also watched reptile shows and rode in carriages pulled by a tractor that took us to see animals such as giraffes, zebras, ostrich, among many others. The children loved it and it was just wonderful.
on top of that we can eat on site as there is a restaurant that is available for lunch.
I want to highlight the friendliness of the workers at this place, always lively and in a good mood and always available to give explanations about the animals and their characteristics.
