The Jedi’s Demise.

Caught off guard by the beast, I witnessed a brutal animation where Cal was swallowed whole. After failing to bypass the grab via distance tactics and focus powers, I lowered the difficulty. This allowed me to attack upfront safely, drop the monster, and execute a lightsaber skull finisher.

Upon returning to the beast, I dodged his fast attack, but then this nightmare happened when he caught me off guard and swallowed Cal like he was a tiny bird who became a dinner for the beast. The massive jaws snapped shut to end the attempt instantly.

After witnessing the disgusting animation, I returned to the arena and I was caught by him once again after dodging his fast attack, failing to read the tracking on his sweeping forward lunge.

This time I used the photo mode to check clearly how the beast swallows Cal and you can see how he does it where I can't do anything to save my character, as Cal was froze at the gruesome moment.

Well, at the next restart, I was not going to let him swallow Cal again, so I tried to stay far from the beast, but I was getting damaged, catching the shockwaves from his heavy ground pounds even at a distance.

I even tried this focus power to see what happens, but it looked like the beast was not so glad seeing me acting like that, so he took me down again.

This time, I decided to lower the game's difficulty, as I understood I was not taking down this beast in this way. And it looked like I was getting less damage now, allowing me to survive hits that previously emptied my health bar.

Now that I started attacking the beast up front while taking less damage, I at last managed to take care of it as it laid down on the ground.

Although the beast was still not dead, I got to try a finisher where Cal stabbed his lightsabers into the skull of the beast and finished him up before BD-1 scanned the monster at the end.

That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.

This has happened to me a lot when playing games. I have increased the difficulty of the game but then it is very difficult to defeat the monster in the game. Then I left that game and played another game. Haha. But you are definitely a brave and determined person because you showed how defeated this monster. Amazing

Yeah it happens to most gamers I guess.

It was really necessary to lower the difficulty here. But how many attempts did you give the Rancor before deciding to change the settings?

like 4 or 5 attempts. I didn't even keep all the failures in the gameplay.

The beast saw you trying to use your fancy Jedi focus powers and immediately decided to shut that down, haha. No shame in dropping the difficulty slider when a boss decides to throw out unblockable nightmare animations.

Every time I tried to slow things down and play smart, it answered with another terrifying unblockable attack.

Trying to keep your distance didn't even work because those ground pounds sent shockwaves across the entire room and then lowering the difficulty turned you from a fragile target into an absolute upfront powerhouse.

The whole room basically became part of the boss’s attack range.
