The cat

Gali was a gray furred cat with black spots, green eyes, sharp claws and long whiskers. He was the adoration of his mistress, who spoiled him to no end. For lack of children Gali replaced one.

He was a very proud and proud cat, he was very independent. Gali loved his mistress and wanted attention. The cat was always after her person whenever he could to get her attention and affection.

In her moments of sadness, Gali was by her side, it seemed that he consoled her with his cat-like love. She hugged him and between tears she fell asleep with him. Gali was the light in his mistress' life and the scoundrel knew it.

Woman and cat understood each other very well, there was no lack of words to express their affection for each other. Each one offered what he had to the other, a perfect complement of two totally different lives, but with the same love and devotion.

Playful Gali made his mistress laugh when she needed him the most, she remembers him since he was just a baby cat. He was a love at first miaw and she was in love with him since that day. She saved him from being sacrificed by the people of that place where they kept dogs, cats, parrots and exotic animals.

After many years in her company, they had become almost inseparable. They were a unique duo with a wonderful treasure that was only for the two of them and no one else. A love that would stand the test of time and years.

But nothing is complete in this life and because of those issues that always arise, the destiny marked for both of them would not be a fairy tale. One day Gali left the house and got lost for two days.

His mistress, very worried and frightened, began a desperate search for Gali. She wandered through all the streets of the neighborhood asking for her cat friend, no one would give her a reason and she began to despair. Her anguish filled her soul and the tears bathed her pain.

In the early morning Gali showed up all bruised up, apparently he had been beaten up. The poor cat got home as best he could and his owner immediately took him to the veterinary clinic to have Gali treated. The vet saw him, but there was no hope, as apparently the beating had affected his spine.

Gali's owner was very sad. Her soul weeps disconsolately for her tender companion, who accompanied her in good times and bad, the one who with a miaw or a caress makes her feel good. Poor Gali is lying there with a pain he can't bear.

She left him at the vet's office hoping they would save her beloved feline's life. She went home hoping for a miracle. That night would not be one of good sleep, but rather of tormenting memories that haunt over and over again in a continuous cycle of torture.

The hours run at a slow pace, while the anguish is a rapid passing between tears and feelings. The longed-for morning arrives. The woman runs in haste to know news about her beloved Gali. The steps become slow with the passing of the kilometers that separate them.

She arrives at the clinic. The vet comes out with bad news. His eyes reflect anguish and sadness. He informs her that Gali has no cure so nothing can be done, so she must take him home so he can rest in peace.

The woman weeps disconsolately, receiving her battered cat. She takes it with gentleness and the great tenderness she had lavished on it during all that time. On the way Gali looks at her and seems to smile with those beautiful green eyes. She tells him that everything will be all right.

They arrive home and tiredness makes the woman lie down on the bed with her cat. They both close their eyes and surrender to the arms of Morpheus. She opens her eyes and sees her beloved Gali, it is a miracle he has recovered, he jumps and jumps with happiness. His mistress embraces him with great joy and does not let him go, she will never let him go from her side, she loves him so much that now he is doing her a lot of good.

Life is wonderful now that her Gali is by her side. She hears his miaws, they sound more beautiful than before, his fur glistens, his wonderful eyes glow incandescent, his whiskers transmit love. Her paws are now like pieces of fluffy clouds.

Gali gives her a caress with his tongue. She feels wonderfully happy. Gali walks away among the shining horizon, she calls him in tears, but she understands that she must leave and thanks him for all the time he spent with her. She lets him go, asking him to be happy and a flying kiss makes the woman wake up. She looks at her sleeping Gali in eternity.
