Poem: Yearning (Anhelo) [EN/ES]
Yearning
I want to be your first thought,
to sneak in like silk upon awakening,
like ivy entangling your foundation,
diverging in your dreams I want to be.
To conjugate with you feelings
as you conjugate tenses when speaking,
to be a verb in the past perfect tense,
and awaken in you the desire to love
I will carry you in me on cold nights
and light a thousand fires with love
and thus melt your soul with mine.
I want to be a source of joy
and without fear cross my borders,
happy in your arms I would be.

Quiero ser tu primer pensamiento,
colarme como seda al despertar,
como hiedra enredar tu basamento,
divergente en tus sueños quiero estar.
Conjugar contigo sentimientos
cual se conjugan tiempos al hablar,
ser verbo en pretérito perfecto,
y despertar en ti ganas de amar
Te llevaré en mí las noches frías
y encender de amor las mil hogueras
y así fundir tu alma con la mía.
Quiero ser motivo de alegría
y sin miedo cruces mis fronteras,
feliz en tus brazos yo sería.

Bien construido ese anhelo, desde la añoranza y el amor, como sentido de la vida y el deseo, no de estar simplemente, sino cuidar y proteger al ser amado.
