Really, when we are young and know little about love, we believe that anyone will be the perfect partner and we only see with the eyes of falling in love. Luckily, your friend was able to realize in time what kind of person her boyfriend was and was able to continue moving forward with her studies and work on her future.

You can say that again. We were so naively in love when we were young and felt our partners would do no wrong but life has a way of teaching us some lessons.
