Love frames everything

This is the story of Aurora, who lived a dream that was broken by social precepts, by honor, by respect, you be the judge dear reader.

It was the year 1995 of the last century, she was only 12 years old, her parents, looking for a better future for their little girl, decided to put her in a school. She was very enthusiastic and happy and wanted to study and progress, but she did not imagine how difficult that battle would be. The day her father left her at the boarding school she began to feel the loneliness impregnated in her cells, she had never been separated from them or her siblings.

That first night was eternal: crying flooded her, she knew loneliness, she felt abandoned and she spent almost two months like that, but little by little she adapted to the rhythm of the boarding school and made friends with the other girls and classmates. Aurora had always been a dreamer and cultivated a movie-style romance with an older man.

One night, in her fourth year of high school, when she was starting her 15th year, the girls began to talk about their dating experiences; she was reluctant to talk because she didn't know what to say, since she hadn't had a boyfriend yet, so she left. This motivated her classmates to laugh at her and tell her: "you look like a tomato". Because in truth, her little face was a blush.

One day, when she was at the bus stop that would take her home to enjoy a weekend away from the boarding school, a man approached her, told her that his name was Emiliano and asked her if by any chance the route that would take him to an address, which was indicated on a piece of paper, was passing by; she smiled at him and he smiled too. From that moment on, Emiliano and Aurora did not stop talking, both let several transports pass by. She had fallen in love with an older man: he was the man of her dreams.

He was also captivated by the sympathy and beauty of that young woman who had no malice whatsoever. He asked her where he could find her to talk to her; Aurora, excited, gave him the name of her school and he, smiling, told her that he already knew where she studied because of her uniform. She laughed; they got on the bus, since they were going in the same direction, although she would get off first, while they arrived at their destination they talked and questioned each other.

Aurora arrived at her destination and Emiliano with his cunning of an experienced man, when she said goodbye stole a kiss.

Her first reaction was to get off running; she did not look back, she never imagined that her first kiss would come with that impetus that left her cold. As she walked home she felt that strange sensation in her stomach, also an emotion that overflowed her and made her laugh.

She spent the whole weekend remembering that furtive kiss, shameless and thief of her innocence, she did not know how to define it, but her soul flew like a butterfly in a meadow. Her mother noticed it and told her on more than one occasion: "You are in love, Aurora", she simply avoided that true statement; she felt she was living a dream. On Monday, as she went out to the bus stop to wait for transportation, she saw Emiliano waiting for her in the distance with a huge smile: her legs began to weaken, her cheeks lit up and her heart accelerated at a thousand miles per hour.

She sighed and kept walking, as she did so she thought: what she should say or how she should act. That gentleman had stolen a kiss from her and for her it was a delicious crime, but a crime. As she got closer she frowned.
“Good morning", he said seriously.
“Hello, good morning, Aurora, how are you?”
“Fine, although annoyed by her audacity”.
“I'm sorry, my child: it was unavoidable, I like you very much”.

She felt that her face was burning and inside she couldn't handle the emotion, but she had to make it clear that it wasn't so easy to steal a kiss and get away with it. Emiliano accompanied her and seduced her with words that with his age he handled as he pleased; Aurora felt on a cloud before the gallantry of the gentleman, until he took the transport, and gave her a kiss on the cheek, then left a letter in her hands. She went up and took a seat, the emotion did not let her reflect clearly, she put it in her bag; she wanted to read it in total tranquility.

Sighs and thoughts stole that man from her dreams; her classmates that day noticed her taciturn and asked her what was wrong, she told them: "nothing".

At the end of class, before entering the dining room, she took advantage of a moment of solitude and opened the letter from her love.

Dear Aurora:
Since I met you you live up to your name, in my days I don't stop thinking about you, I like you very much and I want you to be my girlfriend. On Friday I'll be waiting for you at Plaza Bolivar, so we can talk.

Always yours.
Emiliano.

She kept the letter with an emotion that did not fit in her body; excited and happy, she counted the hours for her date with Emiliano to arrive soon.

When she left the boarding school, her classmates were waiting for her to accompany her to the bus stop, but she refused, saying that her father would go for her. Seeing herself alone, she went to the square and there was her man waiting for her with a rose in his hand, since that day they lived an intense and deep romance. He was in charge of teaching her to kiss; he induced her to that world of love, she only let herself go because she was living the dream she longed for. Her love was so great that on free afternoons she would run away from school with the support of her friends to meet Emiliano.

However, her classmates warned her that she was older. "35 years old for you, only 15, is a lot", they told her, but she didn't care about that.

One Friday when she was leaving, Aurora's father was waiting for her and was talking to a woman, he approached her. She looked at her with an angry face, hugged her father and he asked her directly.

“Is it true that you are the girlfriend of this lady's husband?”

“Yes, daddy", she answered without hesitation, although the lady was unknown to him, but he knew of her existence.

“Didn't you know that this gentleman is married?”

Although he could have denied because he knew the truth; he did not, he was brave enough to face the guilt. Crying, she climbed into the van, knowing she would never see her love again.
