[Movie] MR & MRS SMITH

I love movies in the comedy, romance and action genres- and this movie is a mix of all three.

I have always had an exact fantasy of meeting a lady for the first time and we both fall deeply in love with each other at first sight, where it will be as clear as a day light and will not take too long to know that we want to be with each other for the rest of our life, a chemistry so strong that does not require us taking too long to know that we are right for each other.

Mr. & Mrs Smith is a 2005 American comedy, action, and Romance movie directed by Doug Liman and written by Simon Kinberg. The movie stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are a married couple in therapy, trying to save and bring back the spark they once had in their relationship.

Two assassins were pitted against each other by their firms, making them targets for each other after their employers discovered they were married and living together. John Smith was double as a construction executive, and his wife jane smith an IT recruiter, had been married for five to six years and had a problem of a lack of communication, with Jane, his wife, always doing as she pleased even when John would bluntly say he did not like it. She was in love with him but was not ready to submit to him in the relationship, which led to a partially aggressive relationship between them.

The lack of communication came from the fact that they were both keeping secrets from each other. Both were Skilled contract killers who were working for two competitive firms and were the best there is in their field. It was part of their job to conceal secrets of what they truly did for a living, but they will both realize who the other person was after their firms tries to make them the hit target by pinning them against each other and because of the love they both had for each other and also how good they both were at their jobs, they will both fail and will later team up together to survive.

The movie has a lesson of telling us how lies and deceit are the bedrock of disconnection in any relationship; a relationship that starts with a lie may not have the capability to survive a long period of time. Only when we come out clean in a relationship will we have a real shot at living a happy life with our partner.

While Brad Pitt delivers his role as a mess and Angelina Jolie as a disaster, they both had a fantastic run in the movie, playing their parts particularly well. I have always liked Angelina Jolie and will watch any of her movies, and this movie even made me like her more.

The movie blends comedy, action, and romance; fans of any of these genres will find it entertaining and worth every second.
