Exploring like crazy after suffering with a boss is the best, Elden Ring. (ENG/ESP)

➤ The last time I talked about Elden Ring was very satisfying because I told the story of how I killed another boss that made me fed up, suffer and be days in constant rage trying to beat him, it's been two times in a row that this happens to me in this game, something that usually in the other games of the Souls saga was not so common, I really feel that Elden Ring is a little more difficult than at least the Dark Souls, I do not know if Sekiro or Bloodborne because I have not played them nor I think they are comparable for their type of gameplay. But that there is a change in difficulty, there is, especially because of the new mechanics they implemented in different bosses.

imagen.png

➤ This time it's time to explore and for the first time, know what I have to do, or well, something like that, because finally there is an NPC that tells me something and believe me it's a relief especially when you constantly just go around exploring without having any idea what the hell the story is about, because to this day I still don't know, you just go around defeating things. When talking to the leader of the Round Table he told me that now that I defeated the castle boss and Rennala, I can take the road to Leyndell, the capital city of this land where that giant yellow tree of dubious origin is located, although the way to get there will not be easy at all and of course, they won't explain it to us either, we will only know that we will have to get there, and the way to get there, well? Let's guess it.

imagen.png

➤ The first thing I could find is what seems to be a giant altar or something like a kind of bridge that will connect to the area where the capital is, but curiosity killed the cat and instead of going directly to that, I ended up walking around the map for a cave I found and of course I could not stand the desire to go exploring, so I just admired my main goal from afar, and I had no problem with that because I think that's the best thing about Elden Ring, the motivation you feel to explore and get new things, whether it's items, simple landscapes and beautiful scenery or hidden bosses that are fun to face and that we would never see if we don't dedicate ourselves to leave the main objective for a second, and apart from that of course get runes to level up.

imagen.png

➤ During this cave, or well, something like a cave because it was really something more like a hill that you were climbing to then enter a small cave I got many interesting things, apart from enemies that I had never seen before, the most shocking was a hidden boss that honestly seemed incredible, it was a magma dragon but not a dragon like any other, but one that looked more like a comfortable dragon and went to 4 legs on the floor and had a gigantic sword with a brutal aspect, apart from of course LAUNCHING LAVA LIKE CRAZY EVERY SECOND, for something is magma, the size seemed immense and is that easily when he stopped to make an attack you occupied half screen, it was very nice and everything but also made me suffer a little.

➤ For a small four-legged "dragon" that doesn't even fly, it's pretty fast despite its size and has some pretty beastly attacks where it will even fill the entire floor with lava with its sword, especially when we make it enter the second phase. He will move almost like a snake and will constantly give swords that cover a lot of area so being far away is not a good option either, especially because he can make a brutal stampede that makes you almost instakill, so we have to be careful and basically dodge and dodge until you hit him, a little tactic I noticed is to get between his legs and try to grab his back, since most of his attacks will always be in front of him, it was a bit of a tough battle for me and I had to get out my arsenal and use for the first time the weapon upgrades, to give them magic effects, fire or anything else. I had never really used it before. But after several attempts I managed to kill him and the reward was pretty good, because he will give us his sword along with the special ability of the stampede with magma, the bad thing is that it will require faith and I can't use it because literally my character is a tank that moves and I only raise strength.

➤ After all this and my journey of exploring, it was useless to go to my main goal which was the altar with the two giant statues because it turns out that it is a giant elevator that to make it work I need a specific piece that I do not have, nor tell me what it is, or where to get it, literally my face at that moment was like "wtf, And I had no choice but to go to youtube and it turns out that I must get a medallion that is in a fortress in the area this completely red which is quite difficult and is swamp everywhere, or else it is full of tedious enemies, and all the worst that we can imagine, you can imagine my reaction. .. Although yes, the scenery inside the elevator is quite nice and looks very epic.

imagen.png

➤ That Elden Ring makes me feel useless without knowing what to do is my passion, and the main reason for the game, but what can you do, you still enjoy it too much and it's not something that usually happens at least 90% of the time. That's all for now, thank you very much for reading, see you in the next post!

A adivinarla.

imagen.png

Exploring the world truly is rewarding in Elden Ring! And I agree after gaining a boatload of confidence after defeating the boss makes the "peaceful" wandering that much more satisfying.
