DISCOVERY OF MOSQUITOES // The Hidden Beauty of One of Nature's Most Dangerous Tiny Insects

I think almost all people in the world must know mosquitoes, a small insect that is very dangerous. I always ask myself, why do mosquitoes exist.? What are their benefits for humans.? These questions always cross my mind when a mosquito bites me Lol.

Mosquitoes are very small insects and look very fragile, but behind all that, mosquitoes are one of the insects that can adapt to various environments, reproduce quickly so that the population remains stable, even increasing when the rainy season arrives.

Mosquitoes are also one of the insects that carry diseases such as malaria and dengue fever. Of course, we should not only look at their size, this is because they are insects that must be avoided.

I don't know whether the rainy season has officially arrived in my area or not, but it has been raining continuously here for the past week. As a result, I've been feeling very reluctant to leave the house because the ground has become muddy. At times like this, I'm also very reluctant to go into the plantation, and one of the main reasons is that the mosquito population becomes incredibly large.

However, there are times when there are certain things I simply cannot avoid, such as helping my parents. While I was in the backyard of my house, a large mosquito suddenly flew over and landed on my arm. I instinctively tried to swat it, but my strike didn't hit it completely, even so the mosquito was knocked to the ground, where it lay in a very weak condition.

I carefully picked it up and moved it onto a patch of moss. This mosquito appeared to be much larger than an ordinary mosquito, which immediately caught my attention and made me want to photograph it. Because of its tiny size, I had a bit of difficulty capturing its unique features,one of the best ways I could do that was by photographing it with a macro lens.

Still in a weakened condition, the mosquito barely moved, making it much easier for me to photograph,and the results turned out to be incredibly detailed and very satisfying.
