THE SERENITY OF NATURE // Enjoying the Peacefulness of the Rice Fields While Watching the Farmers at Work

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️

While I was staying at my uncle’s village, I managed to gain many new experiences and learn many new things that broadened my perspective on life and on the differences that complement one another. My uncle’s village is still quite natural and beautiful, and being embraced by nature can provide such an incredible sense of comfort and tranquility. That was exactly what I did yesterday afternoon: relaxing while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the still very natural rice fields.

The arrival of the rainy season presents a golden opportunity for farmers to plant rice in their fields. This has also become an annual routine for the people living in and around the village.

There were no chairs or huts there, so I simply sat down and relaxed directly on the grass. Around the rice fields, I also managed to meet several farmers who were busy with their own activities. Some were pulling out weeds, while others were spraying their rice plants with pesticides.

Along the edges of the rice fields, there were also many oil palm trees, making the natural atmosphere feel even more present. The breeze coming from the rice fields felt cool and soothing, and there was not the slightest bit of noise here, except for the sounds of animals and birds chirping as they moved among the trees.
A cup of warm coffee was the best companion at that moment. Every sip of coffee brought a taste of life that felt so meaningful.

The weather at that time was also just perfect, as it was neither cloudy nor too hot. While I was there, I also had the chance to meet and have conversations with some of the local farmers. Their work certainly looked very tiring, but every step they take is a lesson that can be learned.

It was such a special day that time seemed to pass by so quickly without me even realizing it. At exactly 6:30 in the evening, many of the farmers began heading back to their respective homes, marking the end of their activities for the day.
