Moments of Peace
I have been blessed to be born and grow up in two wonderful places where the sea has been part of my days since I was a little girl. And today, my first time in this community I want to share some images I loved from my last visit to the beach.
To begin with I must say that I live on an island, so you can imagine the joy of having beautiful beaches wherever I go. I am Venezuelan and since I was twelve years old I am blessed to live in the Pearl of the Caribbean as Margarita is known. So going to the beach is and has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
But I must confess that now for me the beach has a different meaning. I see and appreciate it differently. Before in my teenage years and youth it was pure energy and fun, but with the passing of time I think I became less adventurous and I am in search of other things.
So... What can I say about the beach at this stage of my life? Well, I can't deny that it is an excellent place to enjoy with family and friends and that the healing effect of the sea, the breeze and even the warm sand is a kind of therapy. But without a doubt what I enjoy most about my visits to the beach is the unparalleled beauty of the palm trees.
Without fear of sounding exaggerated, I can spend hours just looking at them, getting lost in those rays of sun that manage to sneak through them and in the cloud flakes I can see as I look at them.
It's a kind of fascination that I can't describe to you in words. Just arriving at the beach my eyes and my camera go to them.
Tall, imposing, majestically beautiful. They immediately take me to another dimension, the one where there is only peace and tranquility.
In this particular visit I was able to capture their beauty at different times of the day, so each image has something special.
The sky that accompanies them always exerts its power over them, giving them different shades, appearance and brightness depending on the time of day.
I have two shots that I loved and they are precisely at different times of the same day. It is fascinating to see the change that occurs with a few hours of difference between shots and especially the feeling that can convey each of them.
This one above for example, was as soon as we arrived at two o'clock in the afternoon. I feel the energy of the sun that mischievously sneaks through the palm trees and gives me that beautiful glow that we can appreciate. That ray of light that immediately recharges your batteries!
And then we have this beauty taken as soon as the afternoon started to fall. The sky together with the clouds created a wonderful scenery that I can describe in just one word... PEACE.
It's amazing how something that for many may be unimportant for others has so much value. Undoubtedly for me the best thing about going to the beach is to sit and enjoy the beautiful view that they give me. Grateful to God for living in this paradise that I call home.

Gracias David. Es todo un espectáculo. Ves como el sol se cuela entre las hojas y luego el cambio de luz te ofrece nuevos colores. Hay una de las fotos donde el sol se ve bien alto y otra donde ya va bajando cayendo el atardecer.

Te quedaron bellas las fotos, la isla de verdad que es un lugar hermoso. Mi favorita es la última donde se ve un poquito de la playa y el cielo azul tan bonito.

Como no quedarse encantado con estas bellezas.
Mucha paz, también disfruto viéndolas, así como cuando también voy al río, una de las cosas que más disfruto es flotar en el agua y mirar hacia arriba para ver el cielo colándose entre las ramas de los árboles.
Hace tanto no voy a un río. A mi me encanta el sonido de los árboles y los cachitos que caen de las matas y suenan sobre las piedras. Es música para mis oídos.

Estas fotos están totalmente espectaculares, me recuerda lo mucho que extraño ir a la playa, en definitiva me transportaste, tengo muy pocos recuerdos de cuando solía ir a la Isla de Margarita, pero me la pasaba yendo cada mes para allá, cuando tenía como 8 años de edad, es decir, en el año 2002 más o menos, ya luego no pude ir por varios motivos, pero siempre voy a extrañar esas increíbles playas y el súmamente agradable recibimiento que nos otorga la madre naturaleza y todas las personas que viven por allá.

Yo vivo aquí desde los 12 años y no diré año como tú jaja. Hace un tiempito y antes de eso vivía en otro lugar donde también tenía muchísimas playas pero nada que ver con éstas, como hay muchos ríos el agua es marrón y no hay muchas palmeras. Es completamente diferente.
Así que es toda una bendición poder vivir aquí.

Qué bonita se ve la playa en fotos, soy de las pocas personas que no le gusta mucho la playa, solo me gusta en fotos 😍 porque eso si me gusta admirar los paisajes, la forma, lo que transmite, los colores ufff.

Coincidimos en eso, justo ahora no soy muy fan de la playa aunque cuando voy disfruto el rato y tomo muchas fotografías. A mi me transmite mucha paz. Soy de ir sentarme y ver a mis niños jugar. Yo me siento en la arena a tomar sol y fotos jeje.
Vivo súper cerquita pero vamos poco. Antes cuando estaba chamita (más jajsha aún lo soy) iba muchísimo. Pero con los años como que perdí el gusto aunque trato de ir más seguido por los niños que aman ir.

For me the palm trees are already the sign that I will spend a different day.
When I lived in Venezuela and my parents decided that we were going to the beach, just by seeing the palm trees I started to have a good time, they were the representation that we had arrived, even if we are still in the vehicle.
Thank you for sharing such beautiful photos, and also for taking the time to detail what we sometimes see as something "normal" and not as a wonderful spectacle.

Excelente publicación y hasta poética la reflexión sobre el cambio de perspectiva sobre la playa. Sin duda ver palmeras, arena y mar es otro decir. Las fotos son espectaculares. Aunque yo agregaría a todo esto que las palmeras son un tanto peligrosas por los cocos. Pero ese soy yo y mi búsqueda del realismo en las cosas.

Por los cocos... bueno jajaja. Aquí las revisan súper seguido porque la cocada es una de las bebidas que más se venden y vieras cómo las trepan aquí para bajarlos. Pero siii ahora estaré más atenta porque un coco desde esa altura madre mía!!!

Es un paisaje hermoso y las palmeras tienen este mercer que es hipnótico con la brisa. ¿Se trepan para bajar los cocos? Esa gente no sabe que no estamos en la edad del descubrimiento. Que se hagan una vara para bajar eso. 😂
Y sí, hay que tener cuidado porque eso es mortal desde esa altura. 😅
