Organizador Leebit para el tocador/'Leebit' organiser for the dressing table ✂️🐇

Hello gente creativa de Hive, que tal todo?!
Si estaban esperando la culminación de la repisa pues yo también 🤣🤣, y es que para estas alturas creí que ya estaría lista, pero la verdad es que ha tomado bastante tiempo, sobre todo porque entre paso y paso hay un tiempo de espera, además surgió un problemita de último momento que estoy resolviendo, sin embargo, aunque la repisa sigue "in progress...", hoy hice una cosita súper bella para mi muñeca Miranda y se trata de un oanizador para cepillos de Leebit que es el Skyzoo de Lee Know (Lee Min-ho) su cantante favorito del grupo de K-Pop Stray Kids.

Leebit es un conejito blanco súper lindo con unos ojitos muy particulares y de él ya hemos hecho algunas cositas que no hemos compartido, y digo "hemos" porque como saben Miri y yo estamos trabajando en conjunto con las decoraciones de su cuarto y hace un tiempo tenía pendiente trabajar en un soporte para sus audífonos tratando de recrear unos muy lindos que hemos visto en pinterest y entre los muchos que vimos nos encontramos con uno de Leebit súper lindo que de hecho comencé a elaborar, pero también tiene su proceso y lo he ido trabajando por partes, ya que la base será de una mezcla de yeso y cemento y toca esperar que seque.

La cosa es que para adelantar decidí hacer la cara de Leebit que será parte del soporte y mientras trabajaba en ella pensé en hacer otra cosita (normal en mi) y se trata de un porta cepillos, algo que quería hacer desde hace rato, ya que mi idea con la habitación de Miranda es ayudar en lo posible a eliminar o controlar un poco el ruido visual creado diferentes organizadores para que todo se mantenga en orden y bonito y ya que tenemos varias cosas de Leebit una más no vendría mal. Así que por aquí les dejo el paso a paso.

Leebit is a super-cute little white bunny with some very distinctive little eyes, and we’ve already made a few things featuring him that we haven’t shared yet – and I say “we” because, as you know, Miri and I are working together on the decorations for her room, and for a while now I’ve been meaning to make a stand for her headphones, trying to recreate some really lovely ones we’ve seen on Pinterest and amongst the many we saw, we came across a really cute Leebit one that I actually started making, but it’s quite a process and I’ve been working on it bit by bit, as the base will be a mixture of plaster and cement and I have to wait for it to dry.

The thing is, to get a head start, I decided to make the Leebit face that’ll be part of the stand, and whilst I was working on it, I thought of making another little something (typical of me) – a toothbrush holder, something I’ve wanted to make for a while, as my aim with Miranda’s room is to help, as much as possible, to eliminate or control some of the visual clutter by creating different organisers so that everything stays tidy and looks nice, and since we have quite a few Leebit items, one more wouldn’t go amiss. So here’s the step-by-step guide.

Paso a paso/ Step by step

Para este proyecto quise imprimir la carita del Leebit y así asegurar que quedara lo mejor posible en cuanto a las proporciones y forma del conejito, y lo que hice fue recortar la figura y reproducir la silueta en el cartón y cortarlas, y en este caso corté dos, para trabajar según el modelo de algunos organizadores que también vi en pinterest donde el rollo de papel queda oculto entre las dos piezas.

For this project, I wanted to print out the Leebit’s face to ensure that the bunny’s proportions and shape turned out as well as possible. What I did was cut out the figure, trace the outline onto the card and cut them out – in this case, I cut out two – to follow the design of some organisers I’d also seen on Pinterest, where the roll of paper is hidden between the two pieces.

El siguiente paso fue marcar y cortar sobre el foami blanco la silueta de Leebit para cubrir el cartón por ambos lados y las pegué con el silicón líquido.

The next step was to trace and cut out Leebit’s silhouette from the white foam to cover both sides of the cardboard, and I stuck them on using liquid silicone.

Listo este paso, lo que sigue es hacer la parte rosa de las orejitas de Leebit y para esto también utilicé la imagen impresa, y lo que hice fue remarcar sobre el foami la parte rosada de las orejitas, las recorté y pegué con silicón frío.

Once this step is complete, the next thing to do is make the pink part of Leebit’s little ears. For this, I also used the printed image; I traced the pink part of the ears onto the foam, cut them out and stuck them on with cold silicone glue.

El paso que sigue fue una total pesadilla y les hablo de los ojitos de Leebit que tienen una forma bien particular, y nada fácil de cortar en foami, sobre todo porque se trata de piezas pequeñas, pero después de muchos intentos quedaron bastante decentes.

Por su parte, la nariz, aunque me parecía muy fácil de hacer me costó que quedara como yo quería y la boca, que me parecía difícil me salió al primer intento y una vez tuve ojos, boca y nariz listos los pegué en la cara del Leebit.

The next step was a complete nightmare – I’m talking about Leebit’s little eyes, which have a very distinctive shape and are far from easy to cut out of foam, especially as they’re such small pieces – but after many attempts, they turned out quite well.

As for the nose, although it seemed very easy to make, I struggled to get it just right, whilst the mouth – which I thought would be difficult – turned out perfectly on the first go. Once I’d got the eyes, mouth and nose ready, I stuck them onto Leebit’s face.

En este punto lo que sigue es cortar un listón de foami negro un poco más grueso que el grosor de la silueta del Leebit y pegarlo con el silicón frío por todo el borde de ambas siluetas dejando que sobresalga un poco por encima del borde y de esta forma tenemos listas las dos piezas.

At this stage, the next step is to cut a strip of black foam that is slightly thicker than the Leebit silhouette and stick it down using cold silicone along the entire edge of both silhouettes, allowing it to protrude slightly beyond the edge; this completes both pieces.

El siguiente paso es cubrir el rollo de papel sanitario con foami negro dejando en uno de sus extremos que sobresalga por lo menos 1 cm para luego doblar hacia adentro y pegar con silicón caliente.

The next step is to cover the roll of toilet paper with black foam, leaving at least 1 cm protruding from one end, then fold it inwards and secure it with hot glue.

El siguiente paso es cortar un círculo en cartón para la base del rollo de papel sanitario y pegarlo con la pistola de silicón, y seguidamente fijamos las dos piezas del Leebit al rollito de papel y listo. No hay excusas para no tener la cómoda ordenada y bonita!

The next step is to cut a circle out of card for the base of the toilet roll and stick it on with the hot-glue gun, then attach the two Leebit pieces to the toilet roll – and that’s it. There’s no excuse not to keep your chest of drawers tidy and looking smart!

El resultado yo lo amé y Miranda mucho más, y es que la verdad se ve precioso y quedé feliz con el acabado final ya que está bastante prolijo. Ustedes qué opinan?
