Miracle in cell No.7: a special film from a special man (Spoiler)
Primero que todo debo decir que vi esta película porque me la recomendaron hace mucho tiempo, sin embargo, al momento de que lo grabe en mi pendrive y lo puse en la Tv para verla junto con mi familia, ninguno de nosotros sabíamos que se trataba de esa recomendación, es decir, lo elegimos al azar, es más supe que se trataba de esta película por el hecho que la cámara hizo mucho énfasis en el número de la celda, y sobre todo por las cosas asombrosas que pasaron dentro de esa celda.
Así como muchas personas, los tabloides describieron esta película como "conmovedora" "una trama para llorar". Y debo decir que esas palabras quedaron cortas. Realmente es una película de sentimientos encontrados y debo decir que también es parte de una cruda realidad, donde la sociedad está acostumbrada a denigrar de cierto modo a las personas con una condición mental diferente a la "normal".
El inicio de esta película me lo confirmó, una vez que vemos a un padre que lo da absolutamente todo para que su hija esté feliz, pero más que eso, se preocupa de que ella sonría a pesar de todas las circunstancias, y para él se le hace de cierto modo más fácil por su condición mental ya que ve todo de una forma distinta como lo ven los demás, las cosas sencillas las usa para contrastar la felicidad de la vida que a veces nosotros sin ser especiales como él lo ignoramos.
Sin embargo, no podemos olvidar que estas personas especiales también forman parte de la sociedad, y con ello también son presas fáciles y víctimas de todas las atrocidades de dicha sociedad. Sobre todo, son señaladas con facilidad. Y esto lo vemos cuando en la trama de la película sucede un accidente donde se pierde la vida de la hija de un General importante de la ciudad, y pues, dadas las circunstancias anteriores que pasaron entre ellos, toda la culpa recae en la persona que intentó ayudar a la pequeña a que o hiciera lo que hizo y que pues, acabó con su vida.
Debo acotar que esta escena causó un gran impacto en mí, e incluso en mi familia, llegué a pensar en quitarla y no seguir viéndola. Realmente no me gusta cuando hay algún tipo de abuso infantil, o cuando se trata de la muerte de algún niño, es algo que me causo demasiado dolor y rechazo. Sin embargo, la misma trama en si me motivó a descubrir qué era lo que iba a pasar.
First of all, I must say that I saw this movie because it was recommended to me a long time ago, however, when I recorded it on my Pendrive and put it on the TV to watch it with my family, none of us knew that it was that recommendation, that is, we chose it at random, moreover I knew it was this movie by the fact that the camera made much emphasis on the number of the cell, and especially by the amazing things that happened inside that cell.
Like many people, the tabloids described this movie as "moving" "a plot to cry over". And I must say that those words fell short. It really is a film of mixed feelings and I must say that it is also part of a harsh reality, where society is used to denigrate in a certain way people with a mental condition different from the "normal".
The beginning of this film confirmed it to me, once we see a father who gives absolutely everything to make his daughter happy, but more than that, he worries about her smiling despite all the circumstances, and for him, it is somehow easier because of his mental condition since he sees everything differently as others see it, he uses the simple things to contrast the happiness of life that sometimes we, without being special like him, ignore it.
However, we cannot forget that these special people are also part of society, and therefore they are also easy prey and victims of all the atrocities of that society. Above all, they are easily singled out. And we see this when in the plot of the film an accident happens where the life of the daughter of an important General of the city is lost, and well, given the previous circumstances that happened between them, all the blame falls on the person who tried to help the little girl to do what she did and that ended her life.
I must point out that this scene caused a great impact on me, and even in my family, I even thought of removing it and not watching it anymore. I really do not like when there is some kind of child abuse, or when it is about the death of a child, it is something that caused me too much pain and rejection. However, the plot itself motivated me to find out what was going to happen.
Memo nombrado el pastor en su pueblo, fue llevado a la cárcel, y no solo eso, desde ese mismo momento se le sentenció a muerte por parte del padre de la fallecida, quien además de ser un importante General en la milicia, también tenía el poder suficiente para destruir y condenar la vida de un inocente. Imaginar las escenas de golpes a una persona que solo desea regresar a su casa para ver a su hija.
Es desgarrador para el espectador ya que sabemos la realidad, es inocente y sin embargo en ninguna parte se le dio el beneficio de la duda por parte de quienes se suponen deben juzgarlo correctamente, es decir, investigar la realidad de los hechos.
Sin embargo, una vez que la familia de Memo se enteran de todo, su hija recibe un mensaje importante de su padre que puede salvarle la vida. Por lo que la niña se esmera en buscar a esa persona que fue testigo de lo sucedido. El problema, es que se trataba de un desertor, por lo que las cosas se complicaron.
La vida de Memo en la cárcel iba a ser corta, dado que los presos al enterarse de la razón por la cual él estaba allí, le aseguraba una muerte dolorosa, y es tanto así que se descargaron con él. Una vez más vemos lo duro de la vida en la cárcel, donde los rumores pueden ser castigo del cuerpo mas no de la lengua.
Memo named the pastor in his town, was taken to jail, and not only that, from that very moment he was sentenced to death by the father of the deceased, who besides being an important General in the militia, also had enough power to destroy and condemn the life of an innocent person. To imagine the scenes of the beatings of a person who only wishes to return home to see his daughter.
It is heartbreaking for the viewer since we know the reality, he is innocent, and yet nowhere was he given the benefit of the doubt by those who are supposed to judge him correctly, i.e. investigate the reality of the facts.
However, once Memo's family finds out everything, his daughter receives an important message from her father that may save her life. So the girl goes to great lengths to look for the person who witnessed what happened. The problem is that he was a deserter, so things got complicated.
Memo's life in prison was going to be short, since the prisoners, upon learning the reason why he was there, assured him a painful death, and so much so that they took it out on him. Once again we see the harshness of prison life, where rumors can be the punishment of the body but not of the tongue.
Sin embargo, con el tiempo las personas de la cárcel van atando piezas claves, sobre todo por el comportamiento tan pasivo de Memo, y se dan cuenta que posiblemente estén juzgando a una persona inocente, por lo que se convierten en sus amigos. Inicialmente fue un interés por cumplir la petición del General, pues lo querían con vida, para que le dieran una estocada final con una sentencia a muerte, sin embargo, se convirtieron en fieles aliados para Memo e hicieron todo para que se descubriera la verdad.
However, as time goes by, the people in the prison begin to tie key pieces together, especially because of Memo's passive behavior, and they realize that they are possibly judging an innocent person, so they become his friends. Initially, it was an interest to fulfill the General's request, as they wanted him alive, to give him a final blow with a death sentence, however, they became loyal allies for Memo and did everything to discover the truth.
Lo más hermoso de esta película, es cuando los presos de la celda 7 empiezan a contarle a la hija de Memo sobre sus "enfermedades" que en realidad es la razón real por la cual están presos, de cierto modo se sintió que ellos estaban empezando a sentirse mal por las cosas que hicieron, y vemos que muchos de ellos quieren cambiar.
The most beautiful thing in this film, is when the prisoners in cell 7 start telling Memo's daughter about their "illnesses" which is actually the real reason why they are in prison, in a way it felt like they were starting to feel bad for the things they did, and we see that many of them want to change.
El poder dentro de la cárcel es algo muy también, pues logran dar con el testigo de la muerte de la niña, sin embargo, vemos a un padre que está dispuesto aún así a ver a alguien morir por el dolor, su ego le hizo llevar algo atroz que le cambio y sentenció por completo la vida a Memo.
The power inside the prison is something very too, as they manage to find the witness of the girl's death, however, we see a father who is still willing to see someone die because of the pain, his ego made him carry something atrocious that changed and sentenced Memo's life completely.
La despedida que tiene con su hija, sabiendo de cierto modo que iba a morir en la horca, es algo impactante, saber que vas a morir de esa forma no es agradable y mucho menos cuando sabes y todos saben que eres inocente.
The farewell he has with his daughter, knowing in a certain way that he was going to die on the gallows, is something shocking, knowing that you are going to die that way is not pleasant and much less when you know and everyone knows that you are innocent.
Pero, el final de esta historia es lo que realmente roba el aliento de las personas.
But, the ending of this story is what really steals people's breath.
Un día, recuerdo llegué a la casa y encontré a mi esposa llorando a moco suelto, me extrañé y preocupado le pregunté que sucedía, me dijo que estaba viendo esa película en el teléfono JAJAJA, casi que me da algo del susto por verla llora y era por una película.
Luego, me contó algunas cosas.
Pues si no has visto esta película, tienes que hacerlo para que le entiendas, realmente es muy conmovedora.
I watched the original version from South Korea and that's very overwhelming.
It is very strong yes, the injustice you see there is disturbing, but there is a beautiful side to the story as well.

ES una tremenda película, con una maravillosa historia que vale la pena volver a ver.
Si, si pudiera omitir las primeras escenas donde muere la niña, la vería una y otra vez.
