Series y películas vistas entre semana: La tierra errante & Extinción.
Bienvenidos sean todos nuevamente a mi sección de series y películas vistas entre semana, una de las pocas cosas divertidas que puedo hacer cuando tengo un poco de tiempo en las noches. Esta semana me ha dado por ver películas de ciencia ficción, más que todo aquellas donde se ve que la vida humana está en riesgo, incluso que podría llegar a ser el fin del mundo como lo conocen.
Welcome back to my weekday series and movies section, one of the few fun things I can do when I have a bit time in the evenings. This week I've been watching sci-fi movies, mostly those where human life is at risk, even that it could be the end of the world as you know it.
He elegido estas dos películas para dar un paréntesis entre la ciencia ficción asiática y la de otro continente, siempre esperando que la primera sea más potente, no se, supongo que estoy siempre a la expectativa que los chinos o coreanos me sorprendan con los efectos especiales ya que tienen una buena tecnología para hacerlo y una creatividad muy buena.
I have chosen these two movies to give a parenthesis between Asian science fiction and that of another continent, always hoping that the first is more powerful, I do not know, I guess I'm always waiting for the Chinese or Koreans to surprise me with special effects as they have a good technology to do so and a very good creativity.
La tierra errante
Vi el trailer de esta película y me atrapó al instante, así que luego de colocarlo en mi lista, una de estas noches me dispuse a verla a pesar de que mi novio no quería. En este género del cine ambos tenemos diferentes gustos.
El título creo que va de la mano con la trama, y es algo que se entiende perfectamente cuando miras el desarrollo de todo y la razón por la cual estas personas decidieron hacer una locura. Pues siendo una película, es poco realista el hecho de que la tierra se pueda mover fuera de la órbita en la que estamos y mucho menos por unos miles de propulsores.
Aunque la idea es un poco surrealista a mi gusto, la trama es interesante, porque va mezclada también con el sentimiento de una familia. Primero, una toma de decisión pensando en el bienestar de otra persona lo cual implica la muerte de otro ser querido, y segundo, el sentimiento de vacío que hay en un joven que ha sido criado por su abuelo dado que su padre está en el espacio por más de 10 años.
Una parte positiva de todo esto es el hecho que el mundo entero se haya propuesto hacer lo inimaginable por salvaguardar la existencia humana, pues, mientras la mayoría hace vida en la parte subterránea de la tierra, otros prácticamente se disponen tal vez a perder la vida para sostener el plan de escape de la tierra, así es, la tierra escapa de los cambios climáticos producidos por la misma humanidad, lo cual ha hecho que en la parte de universo donde están el sol haya cambiado, amenazando con acabar la tierra.
He allí donde parte el punto que las naciones se unen en un plan de escape, y deciden colocar propulsores a la tierra para convertirlo en un cohete básicamente. Algo que ha funcionado, pero si nos ponemos a pensar la tierra si un sol y una luna, esto aun así traería desastres, y sin tomar en cuenta lo que puede afectar o puede ser afectado la tierra con otros planetas o el mismo universo en sí.
Pues esto es lo que se va descubriendo en esta película fascinante para mi, los estragos que puede pasar al tomar decisiones, los efectos de la supervivencia y lo que pasa cuando dejas en tus manos las decisiones a un pedazo de metal con inteligencia artificial.
I saw the trailer for this movie and it grabbed me instantly, so after putting it on my list, one of these nights I decided to watch it even though my boyfriend didn't want to. In this genre of movies we both have different tastes.
The title I think goes hand in hand with the plot, and it's something that is perfectly understandable when you look at the development of everything and the reason why these people decided to do something crazy. For being a movie, it is unrealistic that the earth can move out of the orbit we are in, let alone by a few thousand thrusters.
Although the idea is a bit surreal to my taste, the plot is interesting, because it is also mixed with the feeling of a family. First, a decision making with the welfare of another person in mind which involves the death of another loved one, and second, the feeling of emptiness in a young man who has been raised by his grandfather since his father is in space for more than 10 years.
A positive part of all this is the fact that the whole world has proposed to do the unimaginable to safeguard human existence, because, while most of them live in the subway part of the earth, others are practically ready to lose their lives to sustain the escape plan of the earth, that is, the earth escapes from the climatic changes produced by humanity itself, which has made that in the part of the universe where they are, the sun has changed, threatening to end the earth.
That is where the point is that the nations unite in an escape plan, and decide to place propellants to the earth to turn it into a rocket basically. Something that has worked, but if we think about the earth if a sun and a moon, this would still bring disasters, and without taking into account what may affect or may be affected the earth with other planets or the same universe itself.
Well this is what is discovered in this fascinating film for me, the havoc that can happen when making decisions, the effects of survival and what happens when you leave in your hands the decisions to a piece of metal with artificial intelligence.
Extinción
Cuando vemos la palabra extinción en una película, inmediatamente pensamos en el fin del mundo o directamente en la humanidad. Si algo me dejó en claro esta película es que no siempre se trata de esto, pero decirles la razón, sería darles un spoiler muy feo.
Aquí vemos un escenario lleno de tecnología dentro de una colonia de personas que trabajan para un mismo fin. Todo parece ir de la mano con los ideales que se han implementando para mantener un grado de armonía entre todos. Tanto los hombres como las mujeres trabajan en puestos importantes, o de gran interés. Y vemos que hay familia normales como cualquier otra.
Sin embargo hay una pareja que parecía un poco disfuncional, tal vez porque una de ellas esta siendo afectada por el cansancio y pesadillas constantes que le perturban la mente y esto hace un efecto directo en el ambiente familiar.
Todas las personas de cierto modo tenemos un sexto sentido, pero cuando se trata de cosas así tan violentas e irreales nos cuestionamos un poco, aún así no deja de ser perturbador para la persona y molesto para quienes están a tu alrededor.
Llega un punto en el vida en que no sabes quien eres o con qué razones existe, y esta es una de las preguntas que se hace el protagonista de esta película al sentir que falta algo en su vida o que está a punto de ocurrir algo muy malo.
Sin embargo pasa por ser un loco ante los ojos de los demás, pues ésta en una ciudad donde nada malo pasa y todo lo que ves está lleno de armonía y paz.
Creo que así como estas personas que no le creyeron, el espectador también se va a llevar una sorpresa, y es una de las cosas que me voló la cabeza, porque estaba ante la expectativa o el cliché, sin embargo, como dije al inicio, no siempre se trata de la humanidad, siempre hay que ver desde distintos lados y ángulos.
Lo que si deja en claro es que las personas estan para evolucionar, sobre todo cuando permanecen juntas con un mismo objetivo, sobrevivir.
When we see the word extinction in a movie, we immediately think of the end of the world or directly of humanity. If there is one thing this movie made clear to me, it is that this is not always the case, but to tell you the reason, would be to give you a very ugly spoiler.
Here we see a scenario full of technology within a colony of people working for the same purpose. Everything seems to go hand in hand with the ideals that have been implemented to maintain a degree of harmony between everyone. Both men and women work in important positions, or positions of great interest. And we see that there are normal families like any other.
However there is a couple that seemed a little dysfunctional, perhaps because one of them is being affected by fatigue and constant nightmares that disturb her mind and this has a direct effect on the family environment.
All people in a way have a sixth sense, but when it comes to things so violent and unrealistic we question ourselves a little, even so it is still disturbing for the person and annoying for those around you.
There comes a point in life when you don't know who you are or for what reasons you exist, and this is one of the questions that the protagonist of this film asks himself when he feels that something is missing in his life or that something very bad is about to happen.
However, he passes for a madman in the eyes of others, because he is in a city where nothing bad happens and everything you see is full of harmony and peace.
I think that just like these people who did not believe him, the viewer will also be surprised, and that is one of the things that blew my mind, because I was facing the expectation or the cliché, however, as I said at the beginning, it is not always about humanity, you always have to see from different sides and angles.
What it does make clear is that people are there to evolve, especially when they stay together with the same goal, to survive.
