When you can’t win a HIVE Chess Tournament...

Just continue to play because it’s a great learning opportunity.

Currently the Hive chess tournament is very strong and it very difficult to win even one game for the lower rated players.

Currently I am playing better in the Hive Tournaments but not well enough to win many games. Although it feel great to play and not always give away my chess pieces; however I have not been able to compete with the strong players in the end game.

This will Change Soon.:)

Congrats on winning that tournament!
I was already considering e.g. a <2000 Hivechess tournament. It is so easy - just in the tournament setting put in a rating treshold 😁. But it would reduce the number of players even further.
Maybe as an experiment, on top of the "normal" one.
Or create 2 at the same time, one <2000 and one >2000.

Thanks @stayoutoftherz, I think more high rated players will help grow the tournament. I wouldn't want to exclude any players from a tournament. And once the tournament grow bigger than 20 players the pairing should be better.
