My feet can't take it anymore, my legs are about to faint, my chest is bursting, my breathing is increasingly short, my skin is sweating so much that I must have lost at least 3 liters of sweat, the reason? a rottweiler dog has been chasing me for 12 blocks, my only way out is a bridge that I see about ten meters away from me, when I get to the bridge I don't think twice and jump over the railing but to my misfortune the bridge crosses a stream that must have been dry for at least a year. Now I'm hanging by one hand holding all the weight of my body but at least I'm out of the rottweiler's reach (at least that's what I thought), I'm trying to get back to the road and run away safely from the canine's claws and teeth when I barely have time to turn around and I have the beast close to me trying to tear a piece of my face, the barking is so loud and deafening that I try to pull my face to the side when I feel as if a mule had kicked me in the face, the reason... I was dreaming and as I was left in a dream, I was not able to sleep. I was dreaming and as I fell asleep next to the wall when I dodged the dog I crashed my face against it.

Unexpected Visit

Visita Inesperada

It was so hard the blow that I wake up feeling a horrible headache, I take both hands to my face trying to recover my sanity because I am totally dazed, my nostrils smell of blood and I guess it is due to the blow against the wall. But I have not managed to recover completely when an angelic voice breaks the silence of my room and tells me: DADDY I WANT WATER! I jump to the side surprised and I can barely make out the figure of a girl with straight golden hair holding a glass in her hands, with great heaviness and wanting the earth to open up and swallow me I throw myself against the mattress of my bed and ask her to give me a few seconds to get up and go get the water. She patiently tells me that she is fine but to hurry because she is very sleepy and wants to go back to her bed to continue sleeping, in a super human effort I manage to get out of bed and ask her for the glass and even feeling dizzy I proceed to go out to the kitchen to open the fridge and give water to my daughter.

When I leave my room I notice with some concern and I must admit that also with some fear that the lights are strangely all off and when I get to the kitchen I notice that there are no lights on either, which is not normal because living alone I always leave the lights on during the night, I proceed to fill the glass with water and when I turn to return to the room with great horror I realize that my daughter is standing right behind me with her arms outstretched, I give her the glass but not before scolding her for having scared me and my body completely bristles when I notice that the girl's hands are cold as if she had just taken them out of a refrigerator, she with a smile on her face tells me that I should not worry and much less be scared since the house is totally alone and that she herself made sure that everything was fine and also reminded me that she does the same thing every night, I congratulated her for being a very brave girl and told her that she should go back to her room to continue sleeping; after approximately 5 seconds of observing me in silence she ran out through the corridor that connects with the rooms of the house and when I looked for her I did not see her, so I could only recommend her to change her dress for a more appropriate one to sleep in.

Again a shiver ran through my body but this time with more intensity when I realized that the glass was placed on the dining room table, about three meters from where a few seconds ago my daughter and I were standing, how could she put the glass there if I didn't even see her move but when she ran to the rooms? Well it must be because I'm still sleepy, without paying more attention to the girl, I go back to my room and fall into my bed; this time I lie down on the edge of the bed far away from the wall to avoid new accidents, I immediately feel my body relax as soon as I settle down to sleep and when I'm about to fall asleep a smile appears on my face when I remember the scene with my daughter in the kitchen. Not even 2 seconds pass when I jump out of my bed this time totally terrified when I remember: I DON'T HAVE A CHILDOOOOOOOS!!!!!!
