Interesting orange gill mushroom

The gill mushroom always amazes us with its beauty, and of the many types of mushrooms, the orange gill mushroom is the mushroom that I find the easiest here, even so I never feel bored when I see it, because they always grow beautifully with various forms which is unique, and here are some pictures for my contribution to #fungifriday this time, hosted by @ewkaw

Gymnopilus is a genus of fungi in the family of fungi Strophariaceae containing approximately 200 species of fungus with rust-orange spores previously divided between Pholiota and the genus Flammula of the dead, Fruit bodies usually reddish brown to rusty orange to yellow, medium to large, often with a well-developed veil well Most members of Gymnopilus grow on wood but sometimes appear terrestrial if the wood is buried or rotting. Members of Pholiota and Cortinarius are easily confused. Gymnopilus Pholiota is distinguishable by its thick caps and spores which are duller (brown to cinnamon brown), and Cortinarius grows in the ground. Beginners may confuse Gymnopilus with Galerina, which contains a deadly poisonous species.

Sources say that this type of gill mushroom consists of hundreds of species and cannot be consumed because it has a deadly poison, but for sure I do not know which species the mushroom that I found belongs to, I just admire its beauty, look at the top of the gill mushroom Currently, it has a slightly reddish and bright yellow color, which makes it look very striking, and its size is also quite large

I found this mushroom growing on a dead piece of hard wood, and it consists of just a few sticks. Now I will show you the gills of this mushroom.

The sunlight made it a little difficult for me when I tried to photograph the gills of this mushroom, the many mosquitoes were also a challenge for me, but I didn't give up and managed to get some pictures of the beautiful gills, the yellow lines on this mushroom are clearly visible, and the shape very interesting, different from other gill mushrooms in general

Within this group, there were also some small mushrooms that were just starting to grow, and they looked very beautiful

There were a few little mushrooms just starting to grow, the color of the umbrellas was very different from the mushrooms above, even though they were the same type of mushrooms, but these little ones looked prettier with the bright red and purple on the umbrellas, and to be honest the thing it blows my mind

This is the entire group of mushrooms that I found, the tree trunk where they grow is a fairly hard type of wood, even though as far as I know, I have cut this tree several years ago, but until now, the log has not died, only rotted on the only in it, and that's why the tree trunk grows mushrooms quite often

For this friday, that's all I can share, I hope you guys like it and see you next Friday

Note; all pictures were taken with a smartphone camera and edited with lightrhoom + picsart

Happy FungiFriday

"The gill mushroom always amazes us with its beauty" - I totally agree, I feel the same way, all mushrooms really feel good when we take pictures, especially if we try to see the details of the pores more closely. And of course what you share are great clear pictures. ;)
