Kingdom Unique orange gill mushrooms

Hello Hivers

Friday is here again, and this time I also don't want to be left behind to share the best mushrooms I've had, here's my contribution to #fungifriday by @ewkaw

Omphalotus olearius , commonly known as the jack-o'-lantern mushroom , is a poisonous orange gill mushroom which to the untrained eye appears similar to some chanterelles, it is famous for its bioluminescent properties, it is found in forested areas in Europe, in where it grows on rotting stumps, in buried roots or at the base of hardwood trees, it has also been reported from the Western Cape Province, South Africa, A similar, but phylogenetically distinct species found in eastern North America is Omphalotus illudens.

There are two groups of orange mushrooms that I found in the same location, they grow close together, but differ greatly from one group to another, this first group is orange and the gills also appear to have an orange color too, but it is different from the other group, they have a mixture of red color all over his body

Above is a group of orange mushrooms, at first this group wasn't very visible because it was covered in the leaves that fell on them, but after I removed the leaves, I found a small kingdom of orange mushrooms

That's the first time I found this mushroom, the leaves and grass covered them and to be honest I didn't expect to find a unique kingdom behind the grass

Look at the color of this group of mushrooms, much different from the previous mushroom, even though they are the same type of mushroom and grow close together, only about 50cm away from the previous mushroom group, but this one is no less interesting, they grow in layers and have different gills. very beautiful

I also had time to touch them a little, they felt soft and the texture was chewy like jelly, apart from that they also released a little orange powder, which maybe it was the poison contained in this mushroom.

Not only that, some small animals seem to really like this mushroom, even in some pictures you can see that there is a spider web that has been attached to this unique mushroom kingdom.

In recent times, I have found orange mushrooms quite often around my house, but they grow in different locations and have different shapes, even the types also vary, but of all they are still the most amazing orange gills among all, they always showing me unique beauty

So, for now, that's all I can share, I hope you like it and see you next Friday

Note; all pictures were taken with a smartphone camera and edited with lightrhoom + picsart

happy #fungifriday
