My first contribution to #fungifriday \\ Pycnoporus coccineus &Volvariella volvacea
Hello hivers
This is my first post for a #fungfriday contribution by @ewkaw
Nature always provides various amazing things for us to explore and learn, one of which is mushrooms, and in this first post I will share some pictures of mushrooms that I have, but first, let me say hello to all of you, and I hope you like it.
I found these mushrooms when I was about to clean a banana garden, they grew on one of the dead tree trunks, at first glance it looks like these mushrooms have various colors, but the patterns and textures are the same from one another.
According to a google lens search, this mushroom has a scientific name Pycnoporus coccineus, that's what I got, the link will explain everything in detail
Apart from that, I also found some other mushrooms, which also grow on the trunks of dead trees
Now this is a mushroom that grows on the trunk of a banana tree, edible mushroom as we call this mushroom, its Latin name is Volvariella volvacea
The edible mushroom (Volvariella volvacea, synonyms: Volvaria volvacea, Agaricus volvaceus, Amanita virgata or Vaginata virgata) is a species of food mushroom that commonly grows in East and Southeast Asia with tropical or subtropical climates. The term mushroom comes from the Chinese language cǎogū (Chinese: ).
As far as I know, these mushrooms are often cooked in my area, but they take them when they are still small, not as big as the photo above, I rarely see people eating mushrooms that are this big
And here are some mushrooms that I found on the trunk of a dead coconut tree, and one picture on the trunk of a dead areca nut
There is a little oddity that when I want to take pictures of the mushrooms on the coconut tree trunk, they seem to emit smoke or dust, when I touch them a little, it makes me confused because I have never seen anything like that, am I too stupid or they justlike that should
Among the photos, there is one photo that caught my attention, at first glance it looks like a walking dinosaur, this is the photo
Haha, maybe that's just my assumption, and let's experiment a bit with the photo above, let's change the color and remove the background
A little similar isn't it😅, that's me I can share this time, see you again in the next post
All photos were taken with the Samsung S21 Ultra camera with the help of a macro lens, and edited with Picsart |
