Come See My Homemade Fried Doughnut / 看看我 在家作的 炸油条

These days, many people are forced to stay home because f the COVID-19 pandemic.

The cities are locked down for good purpose so that we can all fight against the spreading of the virus.

I have been learning how to be a better cook at home.

One of the things I wanted to learn is to make these Chinese bread sticks or Chinese doughnuts from scratch.

You need:

  1. flour
  2. yeast
  3. oil to fry

It sounds so simple doesn't it?

I tried many times and only had some success today.

Doesn't this look good?

You see all those bubbles or holes in there? It is similar to croissants and the whole bread is crunchy.

The few times before, I failed. I took a picture of it before. When the dough does not rise, they don't form holes inside and they look like bread sticks:

They taste OK but not fantastic.

做法简单, 只需要:

1.面粉
2.酵母
3.油
