Relax your life.

Relax your life.

Hello how are you, since we were little we have been taught that we should take advantage of time and live fast, we believe that the busier we are the more important we are and we lead a lifestyle that takes us from one thing to another and we don't really stop enjoy those little things that life has.

Our interactions with people become more basic, everything on the run, we arrive, greet and go about our business, we don't take time to really relate; Similarly, in family gatherings, everyone is more aware of their phones and what is published, and if the topic of conversation is not about networks, they are out of date.

Hurry is a concept that we humans have created and that we have self-imposed, living in a hurry is something that causes us a lot of anxiety, because we are always projecting ourselves into the future and thinking what would happen if I don't make it, what would happen if I miss this or of that; life has a rhythm and we humans believe in this concept of hurry, the clouds move at a certain rhythm or at a certain speed, a dog is never in a hurry, neither is a cat then because we buy into this idea that the faster we live, the more productive we are Or are we better?

The good news is that when we understand that this concept is self-imposed, we can think of something else and get rid of this idea, and I invite you, if you live in a hurry, suffer from anxiety or simply would like to simplify your life, come to the end of post.

The first thing we can do is start our day as we want that day to flow, many times when we wake up the first thing we do is pick up the phone and check Facebook, check our email and that makes us go to work or school late or whatever we are going to do that day and our day starts racing and ends the same way, so instead of doing this let's start our day by stretching, having a cup of tea, reading an article that interests you, a book or putting there out that intention of how we want our day to flow.

We can also do is that when we are racing we pause and stop to observe what is happening, to ask ourselves if something would really happen if we are late or if what we are doing is extremely urgent as we believe.

The problem with living on the run is that the more we do the less we enjoy what we are doing, it is like when we eat ice cream, the faster we eat it, the less we will enjoy it, if we take the time to savor each time that we tried that ice cream, because it is going to be a much richer experience than simply swallowing the whole ice cream.

Another thing is to get rid of the excess, of the material that we do not use and excess of thoughts such as commitments and activities, instead of having a full agenda with so many things to do, because it will not start to say no, that way we will start to get rid of this excess we will be able to allocate our energy and our time in those few things that are really important.

And finally, we are used to comparing ourselves with other people even though they don't know that we are competing with them and we believe that we have to achieve what those people have achieved, the idea here is that we have to stop comparing ourselves so that in that way there are no competitors and since there are no competitors, then there is no competition and we do not have to be living the races and trying to achieve things that are the same and do not even align with what we really want.

We have to forget about perfection, we have to understand that there are no perfect ones and that we don't have to be constantly chasing this ideal, when we get rid of this idea of wanting to achieve perfection, we will be able to release a lot of stress, have more time and enjoy more of other things that are more important and, in the end, improve our quality of life, so please, we must put a stop to this acceleration or this rush with which we constantly live and we must try to enjoy it more.

Amen!! I often wonder what it would be like to step back in time; to a time where phones and computers didn't exist; where it took you a whole day to go to town and pick up supplies; to rise with the sun and sleep when it sets. We have brought all this chaos upon ourselves and we wonder why everyone is so stressed!

Thanks for the reminder. Now, if we could all just stop..........for a little while. Take care and enjoy the journey! !LADY

It's true, how would that kind of life be without modern gadgets, we only experience it when the power goes out... hehehehe

but you have to do it on occasions for one's health.

Thank you for your comment.

That is very good!
