Adventurous trip to Dream Park 2008

Today, I am going to share my adventurous trip to Dream park in 2008. It is one of the best amusement parks in Egypt. When we talk about amusement parks, it is less amusement and more frightening. Yes, and its all because of those dangerous rides which everyone can not take easily. I am one of those everyone. Well, I am not afraid of those rides but honestly speaking, I avoid these rides because I have watched Final destination so many times and the way they showed the ride get messed up, it is so scary and I just love my life lol.

I am happy to be safe and stay up with the facts that I am not interested to take these risky rides but in my whole life, this was the only trip in which I took almost every ride. It all started due to some reason. When I was in Cairo, Egypt, I only had the gathering in Pakistan International School Cairo. Although I was not the student there because I already had my schooling finished but just for fun or sometimes, studying in Library, I used to go there twice a week. I was allowed because my Father was working in Pakistan Embassy, Cairo and everyone there knows me very well. We had a group of Indian and Pakistani guys there and one day they decided to plan a trip to Dream Park. Me being the most senior amongst all of them, was not ready for this trip. I was like why not choose something better where we all can enjoy rather than risking our lives in those rides. Well, majority were in favor of Dream Park so I put a condition that we will only go there if all the boys will take all the rides without any hesitation. I thought that there would be someone who will deny and we will choose some other place for the trip but I was wrong, everyone took a day to think about it and the next day, all of them agreed. It was like I put myself in a trap lol

Exactly 15 years ago, this was the time we all went to the Dream Park which is located in far away site from the main city of Cario, in some deserted area. I think I was the only one who was going to deny to take some of the dangerous rides so I was making up my mind and trying to be strong enough. it was a bit of excitement but mostly, I was so scared from inside hehehe. Its not like I have never taken any ride, but just the easy ones not those fast and circling ones which gives dizzy feeling. Just looking at those rides from distance gives dizzy feeling, how would it be if I am going to take it, all of this was banging in my head but now, it is too late and I have to follow everyone else. I asked few of them that it is ok if we miss few of those rides but none of them was ready to leave any and said it will be fun although we all are scared too lol.

We entered the amusement park and started taking the easy rides first. Yahoo, it was amazing fun but just after couple of rides, we had a dancing car ride or its is called break dance but whatever it is, it was looking nice but it wasn’t. it moved so fast in circles and it was unexpected, my head was out of this world, I started screaming to get rid of my scary feeling. It worked well. In few seconds, I realized that nothing can stop me from all of this so it is better to enjoy by screaming with the movement of the ride, it was giving me a relaxed feeling. Yeah I know, it is crazy but I got it why people scream in the rides. Wowow it was fun, when it stopped, my head was still moving inside lol. I asked if you guys want to take it once more, its fun. Everyone was staring at me as if I said something very bad hehehe. It was total fun. But guess what? It was just the starting.

We moved on to the next rides and one by one, I was getting the confidence that none of them is going to get over me. the only thing which gave me the most of my confidence was roller coaster was temporarily closed at that time due to weather conditions and I was saying, its too bad, we are gonna miss this wonderful ride but inside, I was so happy for it. We took some kids ride too just for fun. The best ride for me, I enjoyed it the most, shoot n drop. Yes, it was amazing to watch Cairo from that top of the ride and suddenly, it drops down and you feel like your stomach is in your neck. The whole body was feeling giggly. It was so much of fun and I enjoyed this ride a lot. We watched 4D movie as well and it was just a waste of time however, we enjoyed by making fun of it. We didn’t wasted a single minute and it was non stop fun, laughs and smiles.

I was happy that roller coaster was not working but I didn’t know that there was discovery ride which was newly opened and was working that day. OMG, just look at it, where it goes and then comes back in circles and the screams were making it really difficult for me, people were dance walking after getting this ride. It was the time I was thinking to run out of this situation. but seeing others made me strong. If they can do it, why cant me. lets do this, we all get into it and then the fun begins. Let me tell you guys, it felt like we were pushed out of plane and were falling from the sky. Each and everything in our body was screaming. The truth is I liked it. I just loved this ride too. It was dangerous one but it felt so good. What a fantastic experience.

I didn’t counted but we took almost every ride of Dream park on that day and I was not alone in this record, many of us had the same wordings. We enjoyed a lot but I am not going to enjoy this much ever again because I am not going to take any of these rides in my future life. it’s the first and last time I had this much of adventure with rides. Superb experience and a wonderful memorable trip.
