Enjoying My Friend’s wedding

Long awaited my friend’s wedding is finally here, wowow time passed so quickly, we were getting ready and doing shopping for these days and now, its all over as it was the last program of my friend’s wedding today. Weeding consist of three occasions : Mehndi Ceremony, Baraat and Valima Reception which held on 29th Nov, 1st Dec and 3rd Dec respectively. We, circle of four friends, attended all three occasions and enjoyed a lot.

For first event of Menhdi, the Groom’s side has decided of a dress code and our friend informed us for the same. Groom’s brother bought a good amount of fabric to distribute to his cousins and friends so al look similar and the bride side has other color as dress code. Ours was green. Since the day he arrived from Dubai, he was insisting both of us to take the fabric from his home but our laziness was not making us do it. However, when the event was just 2 days close, my other friend accelerated and picked the fabric for both us from his home. Now, a normal tailor takes 3 days for stitching but he has a friend at his place so we both went to him and gave the measurement for stitching of our Shirts. There was no time so I asked him to buy ready made Shalwar (trouser) for me and himself.

On 29th Nov, the day of Mehndi event, I don’t have the dress code in my hand. I went home from work and called my friend about the progress, he said everything has been done and cloths are ready now. I asked him to get ready and come to me so I can get those cloths on and we both will go to Mehndi event together. He did the same. Wow what a stitching, both of us were looking great, awesome fitting of those shirts. We went to the party. Our friend’s cousins, Groom’s party were dancing great and they did a good rehearsal, they rocked the party. I also get too much excited on beats but I controlled myself because they were not so familiar with my crazy dancing lol. me and my friend just watched them and made some clips. Bride & Groom were on the hot seat enjoying the fun.it was a typical Mehndi program with lots of dancing and then singing. In the end, we all had dinner together which was awesome. I was not in the mood of taking pictures so my friend took some selfies.

Second event was of Baraat on 1st Dec. it is the birthday of my mentor and Guru, my brother Shabhai. I was with him on the first minute of 1st Dec and wished him because I knew I won’t be able to join him the other day because of Baraat Event. I decided to put of my Nikah day cloths for this day along with light Green Waist coat. We were at the venue around 9 pm. The newly wed couples were having photo session but my other friend is photogenic too. He was busy taking selfies and his pictures too. The venue was outclass and wedding meal was awesome, fantastically sweets were decorated. It was so well placed and decorated, it was looking amazing. The food was very delicious and we shared our views with the Mother of Bride too who came to us and asked if anything is missing or required. They did a great job and surely spent a lot of money on this event. We enjoyed a lot of this day too.

Now comes the last event of his wedding and it is Valima Reception which held today. me with my wife and kids went to the party. Other friends joined us there. Newly wed couples were looking amazing and beautiful together. My wife picked a nice fancy dress for this event. I was having my own Valima Reception suiting on this day. I am not the same as I was on my own Valima Reception, my waist size has increased a bit for which I fixed my pant through one of my nearest tailor. Now, it was ok on me. my friend, the groom, was looking so nice and happy, way too much happy that we saw him in last two events. Maybe its because of a stress relief. He didn’t shared anything but just that he was a bit sick in last two events. Now, he is all good and he really enjoyed and welcomed everyone on his party, went on each table to greet and thanked everyone for coming. We had some selfies with him, had dinner which was really nice and delicious. Also asked him to spend a day with us before leaving back to Dubai. Well, that’s all from his wedding ceremony. We truly enjoyed all the events and had a lot of fun together.
