My Screen Time is like 25/7

In this era of technology, we cannot avoid the use of devices such as TV, mobile phones, laptops, computers, etc. However, we all want to control this, but it is kind of out of control because the majority of us have to spend more than half of our day for our earnings, and most of the work is related to these devices, whether you are working from home or at the office, or as a freelancer. All types of work require one of these devices to work on.

Honestly speaking, I am not a big fan of mobile phones or laptops, but my desktop system and TV are the main devices in my life. I have to work on my system at my workplace, which would be like 7-8 hours, during which I keep watching my monitor for all CS-related work, emails, and the other products and software which require a lot of attention and mental use. Along with my eyes, my brain runs a lot during these hours. People at work do talk about it that I focus too much at work without taking breaks. Recently, I have started taking breaks of 10-15 minutes after every hour to give some relaxation to my eyes.

Coming back home, I usually spend most of my time with the TV and my desktop system. Watching a movie in a day is a must, along with some other TV serials which I usually watch with my Mother. After that, I give my nighttime to my desktop in making posts and doing some other online stuff which is mandatory to have some extra earnings. So, in the day, I think I give more than 24 hours to these devices. I usually get this habit of blinking my eyes very frequently, which hints me that my screen time is overloaded and I need to have some rest. Blinking of my eyes is noticed by everyone in my family and they suggest taking a good sleep in order to get rid of it. I know that it is mainly because of my screen time. Plus, the negative thing is that I don’t sleep timely and didn’t have enough sleep which is required in a day which ultimately affects my whole body. Well, I am unable to reduce my screen time because I can't help it. I cannot skip my working hours so that 7 hours is for sure. However, I can skip watching TV and using my desktop at home, which I usually do when I feel that it is too much now. For example, I am making this post after a 5-day break and was not giving much time to my home desktop. Along with that, I reduced my time with TV as well. I cannot just avoid watching TV; it's like part of my life. I can skip or avoid using my cell phone, but watching TV in the day is a must; sometimes, I fall asleep while watching movies.

In short, it feels like I am addicted to these devices, and mainly because it's part of my earnings. I never thought of making any routine or taking any appropriate action for maintaining my screen time. When I think about it, no solutions come to my mind. Reducing my screen time can affect my earnings, and that is why I don’t want to get over it. The only solution for the meantime is skipping blogging and online work for a week or so and then back to the normal routine which is 25/7 screen time.

Yeah it's technology era and so it's very hard for some of us to reduce the time we use on our gadgets, especially we that are earning online, leaving the screen seems like leaving our store where we keep our goods.
