Saturday Night with friends
Life is too busy these days, literally, I am unable to buy time for my friends. Yesterday, they were having convo in WhatsApp group. I didn’t replied any of the message then one of my friend called me to check on me. Two of my friends had a plan to play snooker, he asked me join them and he wants to discuss some other stuff as well. I agreed and at night around 22:00, used bykea (online bike services) to reach there.
North Karachi Gym club and swimming pool, that was the meeting spot. It is almost 14kms away from my home. There is a snooker club as well. Both of them were already there and were playing their first match. I don’t play snooker, which is not my game I think. But doing commentary, making fun of their strokes and their faces. I never feel bored while watching them play.
Mr. Mairaj (with glasses) and Mr. Ahsan, they both were very energetic and playing with passion. It is always good to watch both of them playing against each other. I don’t know much about the balls and score thing so I keep asking who is winning which I think annoys them, mainly the one who is losing. But who cares, that is the time to enjoy and have fun. First match won by Mr. Ahsan.
Second match begins without wasting a second by Mr. Mairaj, wants the revenge and win. Started playing his shots wonderfully and technically, but after a couple of shots, he again started missing plots.
On the other hand, Mr. Ahsan was placing the balls perfectly. Both of them were playing good but in the end, once again Mr. Ahsan won the second match.
Face of Mr. Mairaj says it all, trying to make smiley face but can feel the fire inside him, still wanting the revenge.
They were not going to slow down, third match was all set. Mr. Ahsan had a good start and scored 14 whereas Mr. Mairaj was struggling and didn’t find his form yet. I was taunting him continuously and suddenly, match went upside down.
Mr. Mairaj with his stylish shots and technical skills, placed black as cover twice and then pink which gives him a boost, he found his pace back in form. Now, he was looking unstoppable.
I took the picture of scoreboard and the oldie Air condition, window A/C which I saw after a long time. No doubt, this is still more powerful than split A/C. making us all chill.
Third match goes to Mr. Mairaj and he was like I am the king of snooker. Then, I took this picture of Muhammad Yousuf, I don’t know anything about this man but its written there, he was the real king of Snooker hehehe
Now, it was 2-1 and Mr. Ahsan was in leading position. Mr. Mairaj wants to have a fourth match and this time he said I will win with a good number of margin in score. The game begins and from the starting, Mr. Mairaj was all over the game.
Once again, he took covers in good number and on the other hand, Mr. Ahsan played too many fouls which gives him 30 numbers lead. Mr. Ahsan conceded the game in between and made Mr. Mairaj the winner. Now its level 2-2.
I said its enough for today, let it be on level so both of you can have a good sleep or else loser won’t be able to sleep whole night. So we left the place and went to nearby Dhaba (local café).
A cup of good and strong tea with the Paratha made me refreshed. Then its time for the discussions on current affairs, some office works and some new ideas to earn extra money. We had a long discussion on Jawa Eye but I was not convinced to invest on that App.
At around 4 in the morning, Mr. Ahsan dropped me at home. This is how we usually spend our Saturday nights. Cheers!!!
