Special Wedding Gift from International colleagues

My wedding was planned and got fixed to be held in January 2019. My annual leaves were approved for the month of January. I was waiting for the wedding invitation cards so, can start distributing and sending to my friends. As soon as I get the cards, I scanned and sent it to my friends, relatives, colleagues and all other international colleagues via email.

No doubt, my wedding was extraordinary and very different from others in many ways LOL can be in my opinion because it was mine. But everyone was saying these words so, it was something special. Well, that is the different topic and will surely share about it in my upcoming posts.

We got so many wedding gifts and all of them have their own space and value in our hearts. But after a month, on 20th Feb, a courier rang our bell. My father from balcony asked him what was it and to whom it belongs as we didn’t ordered anything. Courier replied that it is a special gift from Germany for Mr. & Mrs. Fawad.

I was not at home at that time so, my Father collected the parcel on my behalf. When I reached home from work in late hours, all of my family members were waiting for me to give me a surprise including my wife.

I saw a package on the dining table and asked what is it? None of them replied instead all of them were smiling. Then, I checked the parcel by myself. WOW my name was written on it and from Germany. I was still confused what is going on? Is this a joke or prank on me? I asked my Mother to open the parcel.

Inside was a box of my company’s name and from Germany office. I was feeling so special. Never thought of it, I just shared my wedding invitation with the whole network but this ‘investigation team’ sitting in Germany office sent a surprising wedding gift. Box was full of chocolates and a greeting card.

It was a very special and emotional moment for both of us. People to whom I have never met in person were so loving and caring to me. Honestly, I never did such a thing to someone in my life but they are some awesome people. They didn’t attended my wedding but this gift shows me that they were thinking about me and remembered me in their prayers which is the most precious gift in this universe. It was just coordination of emails and nothing more than that. I took some pictures to thank all of them the very next day via email.

I spread the word at work and my colleagues were surprised too with this gift. No one ever gets this treat, I am the only one. Thanks to my international colleagues Ms. Ana, Mr. Mourad & Ms. Najla, for making me so proud and special. Cheers!!!!
