Trip to Kashmir Point: Murree

Last week, I traveled to Islamabad and there I met my friends and community people. It was a short trip of two days however, we had a lot of fun together. We had a sudden plan to visit Murree, one of the beautiful attraction. It was my first time to see the mountains of Murree however, I was not willing to go but boys insisted and took me with them. We were ten people in one car, Probox is a good car with lots of space in the trunk where four of us sit to take the ride.

We had lots of snacks and juices with us which we consumed on our way to Kashmir point. Before leaving, we checked the tyres and one of the tyre was punctured with a big screw in it, we get it fixed and then left for our destination.

The road to mountains is crazy, dangerous turns and curves, driving is not easy. Thank God, we were having a friend who is well trained and professional driver, and also knows the turns and curves very well.

The most dangerous thing is over taking on those roads. I almost got heart fail in few situations lol

Not everything can be captured through the camera of mobile phones, what we see in reality was amazing, definitely its amazing nature and we tried to capture the moment. Maybe a good camera or a cameraman can capture those awesome nature views from those mountains.

Finally we reached Kashmir Point. Honestly, I didn’t find it extraordinary place, maybe because I have been to many amazing places that is why I didn’t find anything special at this place but many people from all over Pakistan visit this place.

There are many hotels and resorts for tourists and they are almost full in winters. The main season when people come here to experience the snowfall.

Everyone just gets busy taking pictures whereas others sit on the chairs to enjoy the views.

We had a little walk on the road. There were some statues and a park as well.

Our boys took horse ride. I was little worried in case horse start running away on those mountains, it will be hard to handle or control them but our boys were enjoying their rides without any worries.

We enjoyed the views and horse ride and in an hour or so, headed back to home but on another route not with the one we came to this point.

We had a stop at some place near Murree expressway, where there were many tea stalls and shops. I think it was a popular place to have a cup of tea.

We enjoyed our tea with Pakoras out there.

I encountered some awesome clouds out there and it was the time to enter the Love the clouds contest, never miss these chances hehehe

Once again, boys not missing any point of taking pictures with fantastic background of mountains.

On our way back, most of us were tired and fall asleep whereas I was still enjoying the views. It was a nice short trip to Murree and first time for me to see this place. It was a decent place but nothing so special about it what I have heard from many people, maybe we were there in a wrong season. Its all about snow which attracts many people to this place.
