So I gave myself the task of researching and here I bring you some facts, which will help you to know a little more about this incredible nation.
Hola queridos amigos Hivers✨, en esta ocasión quiero traerles un tema diferente a los que publico, enfocada un poco hacia la parte deportiva, ya que les comentare un poco sobre el país donde se está realizando el mundial de futbol 2022, si amigos, les estaré escribiendo sobre: 🏵 Qatar 🏵 . Un maravilloso país del cual conocemos poco.
Así que me di la tarea de investigar y aquí les traigo algunos datos, que les ayudaran a conocer un poco más sobre esta increíble nación.

Qatar is a country located on the Arabian Peninsula, whose capital is Doha and has a population of approximately 2,930,524 inhabitants. Its main economy is derived from the exploitation of oil and natural gas. Qatar also ranks 5th in the world ranking of countries with the largest natural gas reserves at present.
Catar o Qatar , es un país ubicado en la península Arábiga , cuya capital es Doha y cuenta con una población aproximada de 2.930.524 habitantes. Su principal economía se deriva de la explotación de petróleo y gas natural. Así mismo Catar ocupa el 5to lugar en al Rankin mundial de los países con mayores reservas de gas natural en la actualidad.
In terms of climate, Qatar has two seasons: summer and winter. The first season is quite hot, with temperatures ranging between 14°C and 45°C from March to November, while the second season is considered a pleasant one, with temperatures averaging 17°C.
En cuanto a su clima, Qatar goza de dos estaciones ; verano e invierno. Siendo la primera bastante calurosa, con temperatura que oscilan entre los 14 ° y 45 ° C , extendiéndose entre los meses de marzo a noviembre y la segunda estación considerada de clima agradable cuyas temperaturas descienden la media de los 17° C.

Among the main tourist attractions of the capital of Qatar is the Doha Promenade, which starts at the Museum of Islamic Arts and ends at one of the most luxurious hotels in the city, the Sheraton. The promenade is more than 5000 km long and you can enjoy a refreshing sea breeze and appreciate the wonderful skyline of the city.
Another attraction of the city is the Villaggio Mall whose architecture imitates the city of Venice, with canals similar to the Italian city mentioned above and even offers its visitors the possibility of riding a Gondola.
Entre los principales atractivos turísticos de la Capital de Qatar se encuentra el Paseo Marítimo de Doha, el cual inicia en el museo de artes Islamicos y culmina en unos de los hoteles más lujosos de la ciudad , como lo es el Sheraton. El paseo cuenta con más de 5000 km de longitud y en él se pueden disfrutar de una refrescante brisa marina y además apreciar el maravilloso horizonte o skyline de la Ciudad.
Otros de los atractivos de la Ciudad es el centro comercial Villaggio Mall cuya arquitectura imita a la ciudad de Venecia, contando con canales parecidos a la Ciudad Italiana antes mencionada y hasta ofrece a sus visitantes , la posibilidad de pasear en Góndola.
🔸 Gastronomy 🧆 /🔸 Gastronomía 🧆
On the other hand, in its gastronomy there are three typical dishes that are recognised worldwide, such as the falafel, which is a croquette made with chickpeas or broad beans, the Shawarma which consists of an Arab bread stuffed with thin strips of lamb meat and vegetables. And finally the kabsa which is a dish based on a long grain rice, mixed with spices, meat and vegetables.
Por otra parte en su gastronomía destacan tres platillos típicos que son reconocidos a nivel mundial , como lo son el falafel, que es una croqueta hecha con garbanzo o habas , el Shawarma que consta de un pan árabe relleno con finas tiras de carne de cordero y vegetales. Y por ultimo el kabsa que es un plato a base de un arroz de grano largo, mezclado con especias, carnes y verduras.
🔹 In terms of Sport🏅 / 🔹 En cuanto al Deporte🏅
In terms of sport, Qatar has hosted several major events such as the Asian Cup in 1988 and the Men's Handball World Cup in 2015. Doha also hosted the 2006 Asian Games, the 2010 World Indoor Athletics Championships and the 2011 Pan Arab Games.
En cuanto al plano deportivo Catar ha organizado diversos eventos importantes como lo fueron : La copa asiática del 1988 y el mundial de balonmano masculino en el 2015. Del mismo modo Doha, ha sido sede de los juegos asiáticos del 2006, el mundial de atletismo de pista cubierta en el 2010 y los juegos Panarábicos 2011.
🔸 What about the World Cup? ⚽️ 🏆 /🔸 ¿Y el mundial? ⚽️ 🏆
As we all know, Qatar is hosting the 22nd edition of the men's World Cup, which starts on 20 November and ends on 18 December this year, making it the first Middle Eastern country to host the World Cup. The host country will also be the only debutant team of the 32 teams that will compete in the tournament.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the host country has a total of 8 football stadiums for this World Cup, being the Al Bayt stadium where the first match of the World Cup between Ecuador and Qatar was played and the iconic De Lusail stadium, which is the stadium with the largest capacity (94,000 spectators), will host the final of the tournament.
Como todos ya sabemos Qatar organizo esta cita del mundial de futbol masculino, en su Edición número XXII, el cual inicio este 20 de noviembre y culminara el 18 de diciembre del presente año, convirtiéndose en el primer país del medio oriente , en albergar el evento mundialista. Así mismo el anfitrión será la única selección debutante de las 32 selecciones que disputaran el torneo.
Finalmente cabe mencionar que para esta cita mundialista el país organizador dispone de un total de 8 estadios de futbol, siendo el estadio de Al Bayt donde se disputo el primer encuentro del mundial entre Ecuador y Catar y en el recinto del icónico De Lusail que es el estadio con mayor capacidad de espectadores (94.000) se llevara a cabo la final del certamen.
This is what this amazing place is like, with an almost desert-like climate, delicious cuisine, wonderful tourist sites and above all a lot of sporting history. All these attributes and many more prepare Qatar to finally host such a great event.
Así es este increíble lugar, con un clima casi desértico, deliciosa gastronomía, sitios turísticos maravillosos y sobre todo con mucha historia deportiva. Todos estos atributos y muchos más preparan a Qatar para así finalmente ser el país anfitrión de tan gran evento.
