Grocery shopping with big brother!🛒🥩🥔🥕

¡Hola amigues!♥️

Hi besties!♥️

I hope you had a great weekend. 🤗

I've been a little lost around here, as I've been so busy with college and personal matters, these months have been crazy.

Yesterday I decided to take a break from my busy schedule to go with my partner in crime, my beloved big brother👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏾, to buy some groceries that were needed at home.

So, join us!

Well, I'll tell you a little bit, in our urbanization there are few supermarkets nearby, but one well known for its affordable prices is the Feliz Chen supermarket, located in my sector.

It is so popular that many people from other neighborhoods and sectors, even from other municipalities come here to buy their groceries.

How do I know this? Well, sometimes the lines to pay or even to enter the establishment, are quite long, so sometimes a conversation starts with the people present😂, I'm quite a old lady in this aspect.

One bad thing I can say about this place is that it is too small! And because of the number of people that visit the place every day, it becomes like a little claustrophobic nightmare to be here. 😭

In fact, I couldn't take many pictures here precisely because of how cramped it is, whenever we enter we always want to get out as soon as possible.

A curiosity about the place is that being so small, not all the things are located on the shelves, so you have to go to some places to ask for what you want, they put it in a basket and give you a ticket that you have to give at the cashier so the employees can look for what you ordered.

Aquí compramos algunos alimentos como pasta, harina, huevos, mayonesa y algunas hortalizas.

Here we bought some food like pasta, flour, eggs, mayonnaise, and some vegetables.

After leaving this small place, we went to another supermarket to buy some meat.

This other place is a little farther from our home and is called Siglo Max. It is much bigger and more comfortable than the previous one, but, its prices are higher. However, we like to buy our protein here.

We have to leave our bags at the entrance, here they also give you a ticket to pick up your things when you leave.

I thought it was cute because they were creative with this, putting the assigned number on a cute little bracelet. 🥺

Once inside, we headed straight to what we were going for, the butcher and deli. 🥩

When we were about to pay, we passed by an aisle where there were some mirrors, we couldn't avoid it, what would you have done? 📸

Since it was around 6:30 PM, a time when most people leave their jobs and the sun has gone down a bit, the place was pretty crowded, so we stood in line for a while to pay.

After paying we finally headed home.

One thing I am thankful for is that these places are close to us, so we can walk there.

As I mentioned, some people come from other places that are much farther away, just to be able to shop at a cheaper price than downtown.

Thanks to my brother for joining me in my blogging adventures, he is the best. 👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏾

lucky to have such supermarket on walking distance, well, these congested markets are like playing games on survival mode, we have the same here in Pakistan too. I like that bracelet number thing, good idea to maintain peace between buyers lol
Thanks for sharing your weekend experience!!!

Wow, greetings from Venezuela to Pakistan! <3

Yup, I swear it gives me a feeling of desperation to flee quickly from places like this, but well, everything is to buy cheaper hahaha

cheap rates and sale is the attraction that is why it is always so crowded. Its not an easy task to buy monthly or weekly groceries from such supermarkets or superstores. this needs some training and techniques hehehe
keep blogging and sharing your stories!!!
