Yo estoy feliz, bueno, se me juntan un poco las emociones porque siempre que empezamos la universidad empieza un estrés nuevo y una responsabilidad que atender, pero la parte buena siempre será volver a ver a mis amigos y tener nuevos recuerdos y anécdotas para contar. En este caso tuvimos una misión mis amigos Arslens, Gabriel y yo.

I'm happy, well, my emotions are a bit mixed because whenever we start college, there's a new stress and responsibility to deal with, but the good part will always be seeing my friends again and having new memories and stories to tell. In this case, my friends Arslens, Gabriel, and I had a mission.
El pasado sábado 01 de noviembre, dándole la bienvenida a este penúltimo mes del año, tuvimos nuestro primer encuentro presencial porque estamos prácticamente viendo clases online.
Esto se debe a que nuestra universidad está en remodelación, están haciendo reparaciones desde el semestre pasado, sin embargo los profesores, junto a la coordinadora de nuestra carrera, se las han apañado para solucionar esta situación.
Por ejemplo, esta vez, tuvimos que vernos en una escuela/secundaria llamada "Cruz Figuera Rondón", primera vez que veníamos hasta acá, fue muy gracioso porque cuando nos encontramos cada uno estuvo contando su anécdota para llegar.
Vimos una intensa clase de Operaciones de Ingeniería de Alimentos III, porque si, ya vamos por la 3era parte de estas materias que parecen ser eternas, pero cada vez falta menos y siempre agradeceré que vamos a la par, con mis amigos siempre.
Last Saturday, November 1, welcoming the penultimate month of the year, we had our first face-to-face meeting because we are practically taking classes online.
This is because our university is undergoing renovations; they have been doing repairs since last semester. However, the professors, together with our program coordinator, have managed to solve this situation.
For example, this time, we had to meet at a school/high school called “Cruz Figuera Rondón.” It was our first time coming here, and it was very funny because when we met, everyone was telling their story about how they got there.
We had an intense class in Food Engineering Operations III, because yes, we are already in the third part of these subjects that seem to be endless, but there is less and less left and I will always be grateful that we are keeping up, with my friends always by my side.

Luego de esta clase teníamos una misión importante y era llevar a misa a nuestro compañero Samuel con su mamá que nos estaría esperando en la catedral.
Samuel padece de autismo y siempre lo hemos apoyado en todo lo que podamos, su mamá está muy agradecida con nosotros porque no lo dejamos por fuera. Esta vez ella no podía buscarlo, así que nos fuimos con él en autobús hasta la Catedral de Maturín.
Tuvimos que entrar a la misa, que ya estaba por terminar, pero fue un momento de paz junto a mis amigos, que no sabía que necesitaba y eso que yo no soy la persona más religiosa del mundo, de hecho tengo ciertas opiniones un poco controversiales con el tema, pero por supuesto que respeto las creencias de cada quien.
After this class, we had an important mission, which was to take our classmate Samuel to Mass with his mother, who would be waiting for us at the cathedral.
Samuel has autism, and we have always supported him in every way we can. His mom is very grateful to us because we don't leave him out. This time, she couldn't pick him up, so we took him by bus to the Cathedral of Maturín.
We had to go into the mass, which was already coming to an end, but it was a moment of peace with my friends that I didn't know I needed, even though I'm not the most religious person in the world. In fact, I have some somewhat controversial opinions on the subject, but of course I respect everyone's beliefs.
No sabía que necesitaba este momento de paz hasta que lo tuve y es que aprecio y valoro cada instante con las personas que quiero, además la catedral es muy bonita, hace mucho que no entraba, me gustó mucho.
Nos despedimos de la mamá de Samuel y de Samuel, que no quiso fotos, nos sentaos un rato a chismear afuera y me di cuenta que los extrañé mucho, además, la mamá de Samuel nos agradeció mucho el gesto a cada uno y esto me llena mucho mi corazón.
Siempre apoyaremos a nuestros compañeros y es lo que más recordaré de esta etapa universitaria, mis amigos y el aomr que tenemos para dar y recibir.

I didn't know I needed this moment of peace until I had it, and I appreciate and value every moment with the people I love. Besides, the cathedral is very beautiful. It had been a long time since I had been inside, and I really liked it.
We said goodbye to Samuel's mom and Samuel, who didn't want any photos, and we sat outside for a while to chat. I realized how much I missed them. Samuel's mom thanked each of us very much for our gesture, and that really warmed my heart.
We will always support our classmates, and that is what I will remember most about this stage of my university life: my friends and the love we have to give and receive.
Thank you Arslens and Gabriel for this day, and Samuel too. <3

So nice to see that you have finally reconnected with your friends. It's also very kind of you to mention Samuel and how you have reconnected with him as well and helped him out and supported him. That's really a nice thing that you've done. Just like you, I'm not very religious, and I come from a Roman Catholic background. However, I do believe in God, and in my heart, I believe in something bigger than all of this.
The kindness you've shared and the friendship you've offered to these friends is evidence that you don't have to be religious to be kind and show love. I guess it was not a cathedral that really brought you to that state of peace, but also spending time with people that grew up in it. I'm following you now so I can see more of what you do and how you progress and enjoy life.I think you are a nice friend!
