Espero estén teniendo un bonito día, aquí es otro día caluroso, no importa a que hora estés leyendo esto ¡Hace calor! 😭
En Venezuela, se sabe que no se dan las 4 estaciones como en otros países. Aquí solo existe invierno y verano y, aunque en libros e internet te digan más o menos los meses en los que supuestamente lloverá o hará calor (como en marzo/abril), esto nunca es tan preciso porque el clima es algo impredecible, a veces puede amanecer lloviendo y pasar todo el día así y al día siguiente hace el sol y calor más fuerte que habrás experimentado.
En donde vivo, Monagas, Maturín, ubicado al oriente del país, es bastante caluroso. La temperatura siempre está alta, incluso aunque llueva a veces, por la humedad.
A finales del mes de abril, me sorprendió que durante varios días seguidos hubo lluvia continua, no muy fuerte, una especie de rocío. Digo que me sorprende porque como les dije, se suele indicar que para los meses de marzo y abril es cuando más fuerte está el sol y el calor.
Estuve un poco feliz por esa lluvia, porque la verdad el clima estuvo bastante fresco, pero, cuando llegó mayo, ahí es donde dije ¿Acaso el sol es ese novio tóxico celoso que te hace daño y no quiere irse de tu vida por ningún medio? Okey no, ya. 😅

In Venezuela, it is known that there are not 4 seasons as in other countries. Here there is only winter and summer and, although in books and the internet, they tell you more or less the months in which it is supposed to rain or be hot (as in March/April), this is never so precise because the weather is somewhat unpredictable, sometimes it can dawn raining and spend the whole day like that and the next day it is the sunniest and hottest you have ever experienced.
Where I live, Monagas, Maturin, located in the east of the country, is quite hot. The temperature is always high, even if it rains sometimes, because of the humidity.
At the end of April, I was surprised that for several days in a row, there was continuous rain, not very heavy, a kind of dew. I say that I was surprised because as I told you, it is usually indicated that March and April are when the sun and the heat are the strongest.
I was a little happy about that rain because the truth is that the weather was quite cool, but, when May came, that's when I said Is the sun that toxic jealous boyfriend that hurts you and doesn't want to leave your life by any means? Okay no, stap!😅
Empezando el mes de mayo, el calor ha estado tan insoportable que me sorprende que aún no me haya desmayado en un autobús. Hemos llegado a los 38° C, con una sensación de hasta 44°, ha sido una total locura.
He visto y escuchado en las noticias que es en todo el país, pues generalmente la parte central del país, como Caracas, el clima se mantiene fresco, ni tan caluroso ni frío, pero hasta ellos se han estado quejando.
Ni hablar de algunos estados en el occidente del país, como Zulia, que siempre ha sido caracterizado y señalado por el calor, aquí en Oriente, hemos estado haciendo competencia con ellos. 😂
De verdad que es algo impresionante, incluso para quienes sabemos que estos meses del año son calurosos, ha sido una oleada que nos tiene a todos sorprendidos y hartos. Hasta las mascotas están exhaustas.
Starting the month of May, the heat has been so unbearable that I'm surprised I haven't passed out on a bus yet. We have reached 38° C, with a sensation of up to 44°, it has been absolutely crazy.
I have seen and heard on the news that it is all over the country, because generally in the central part of the country, like Caracas, the weather stays cool, neither so hot nor cold, but even they have been complaining.

Lo peor es tener que seguir el día a día como si nada y soportarlo. Hubo un día donde estuvimos a 37° y yo estaba en un salón viendo clases en la tarde, la profesora nos decía que haríamos lo posible por terminar y largarnos porque de verdad estábamos todos de mal humor y sudorosos, como en el episodio de Victorious del calor. 😂
The worst thing is having to carry on with the day-to-day business as usual and put up with it. There was a day when it was 37° and I was in a classroom watching classes in the afternoon, the teacher told us that we would do our best to finish and leave because we were all in a bad mood and sweaty, like in the Victorious episode of the heat. 😂

Ni hablar de cuando toca tomar el transporte público, lo único que se escucha en los autobuses son las quejas de las personas, el llanto de los niños que también están hartos y quizá una salsa baúl o vallenato, porque ni el calor insoportable detiene a los autobuseros de aturdirnos con sus melodías😭 (hago un llamado a la consciencia, por favor señores autobuseros🙏🏽).
Not to mention when it is time to take public transportation, the only thing you hear on the buses are the complaints of the people, the crying of the children who are also fed up, and maybe a salsa baúl or vallenato, because not even the unbearable heat stops the bus drivers to stun us with their melodies😭 (I call to conscience please gentlemen bus drivers🙏🏽).

No se sabe hasta cuando será esto, los pronósticos dicen que hasta 10 días de calor seguidos tendremos o quizá más, la situación es preocupante. Nos dicen que tomemos nuestras previsiones, porque las altas temperaturas conllevan apagones, para completar.
Lo único que puedo rescatar de esto para no ser tan pesimistas, es que el cielo ha sido un espectáculo, durante el día su azul es hermoso y las nubes abundantes, como grandes algodones. ⛅
Cuando cae la tarde/noche, los atardeceres son dignos de admirar, soy fan de los atardeceres. He salido solo a ver como se va el sol después de casi desmayarnos durante el día😂 y los hermosos colores que nos deja antes de oscurecerse totalmente.
We don't know how long this will last, the forecasts say that we will have up to 10 days of heat in a row or maybe more, the situation is worrisome. They tell us to take our precautions, because the high temperatures lead to blackouts, to complete.
The only thing I can rescue from this not to be so pessimistic, is that the sky has been a spectacle, during the day its blue is beautiful and the clouds are abundant, like big cotton balls. ⛅
When the afternoon/evening falls, the sunsets are worth admiring, I am a fan of sunsets, I have gone out alone to see how the sun goes down after almost fainting during the day😂, and the beautiful colors it leaves us before getting totally dark.

Por un momento dudé donde debería ir este post, pues solo soy yo quejándome del calor que ha estado abordándonos desde que inició el mes, pero luego pensé El calor en esta ciudad es un estilo de vida y aquí estamos. ✌🏽

Realmente insoportable amiga! También soy de Maturin y no puedo estar lejos de las habitaciones porque el calor es fuerte, por lo menos allí hay aires acondicionados y una está más fresca!

Ojalá tener una piscina para refrescarme, soy de Maturín y confirmo todo lo que dices en tu post, me siento identificado hasta con lo de los autobus, lo peor es cuando toca caminar hacia la parada, de verdad, el sol que está haciendo en estos días no ha sido para nada normal, ya me tiene harto y para remata los aires de mi casa se han puesto ridículos, siento que estoy en el infierno, de verdad, no me puedo imaginar como están pasando estos días las personas que no tienen ni un aire en su casa. Definitivamente el calor ha estado insoportable, y también tienes razón cuando dices que el clima aquí es impredecible, y no sabemos cómo amanecerá al otro día, solo nos queda resistir y confíar que está ola pasará rápido...

bueno si se quieren reir un rato hoy 16 de mayo en maracaibo llovió al menos 10 horas el dia de hoy jajajaj, asi que no se sabe como amanece, saludos desde la tierra del sol amada!
