¿QUÉ TAN BUENOS SON LOS SHAWARMAS DEL AMIR PALACE EN PUERTO LA CRUZ? 🌯 [Esp][Eng]

Hace 1 mes mi novio me invitó a comer y me preguntó qué quería. La verdad es que no supe qué responder porque las dos últimas veces que habíamos salido terminamos comiendo pizza, así que no era precisamente lo que se me antojaba ese día.

Al verme tan indecisa me propuso ir por unos shawarmas. 🌯 Apenas escuché eso, mis ojos brillaron y enseguida le pregunté si íbamos al lugar donde fuimos a comer juntos por primera vez. Cuando me dijo que sí, obviamente me emocioné muchísimo más.

El lugar del que les voy a hablar hoy es El Amir Palace, un restaurante ubicado en el Paseo de la Cruz y el Mar. Tienen un menú bastante amplio con comida árabe, mediterránea e incluso varios tipos de hamburguesas. Mi papá siempre me ha dicho que este restaurante es viejísimo, que tiene alrededor de 20 años funcionando, y que algo que nunca ha cambiado es la calidad de su comida.

Nosotros ya teníamos bastante claro qué íbamos a pedir, pero igual me puse a chismear el menú. 👀 La verdad es que los precios me parecieron bastante accesibles y las porciones son realmente generosas.

Esta vez no pedí el shawarma clásico, sino que me fui por el Mixto Premium (creo que así se llamaba, perdón si me equivoco 😅). Traía los ingredientes clásicos como carne, pollo, cebolla caramelizada, tomate, pepinillos, rábano, un poquito de perejil y mayonesa. Además, incluía cochino y dos contornos. Nosotros escogimos falafel y crema de pimentón. 🤤

Yo no les puedo explicar lo delicioso que estaba ese shawarma. Acompañado de la crema de garbanzos, el sabor era todavía mejor. La carne estaba súper suave, los vegetales estaban finamente cortados y todo combinaba perfectamente.

Pero si hay algo que se robó mi corazón fue la crema de pimentón. 😭❤️ DIOS... creo que esa y la de garbanzos ya son oficialmente mis favoritas.

¿Que si lo volvería a pedir? POR SUPUESTO QUE SÍ. 💯 Y si son del estado Anzoátegui y todavía no han probado este lugar, de verdad los invito a darle una oportunidad.

Otro punto que quiero resaltar es la atención. 🤍 Algo que siempre he notado es que la mayoría de los mesoneros son señores mayores, y déjenme decirles que no hay mejor atención que la de esos caballeros. Siempre están pendientes de que uno esté cómodo, de si hace falta algo y atienden con muchísima amabilidad.

Además, el ambiente del restaurante es bastante tranquilo y agradable. Justamente el día que fuimos era la final de baloncesto donde jugaba Marinos, así que el lugar tenía una vibra muy alegre que hizo la noche todavía más especial.

Esta es la segunda vez que visito El Amir Palace y, sinceramente, las dos experiencias han sido excelentes. 💛 No tengo ninguna queja, así que si están buscando un lugar diferente para comer en Anzoátegui, les recomiendo que se den una vueltica y vivan su propia experiencia.

About a month ago, my boyfriend asked me out to dinner and asked what I wanted to eat. Honestly, I couldn't decide because the last two times we'd gone out, we'd ended up having pizza, so I just wasn't craving it that day.

Seeing how undecided I was, he suggested we grab some shawarma instead. 🌯 The moment he said that, my eyes lit up. I immediately asked if we were going back to the place where we had our very first meal together, and when he said yes, I got even more excited. 🤍

The place I'm talking about today is El Amir Palace, a restaurant located on Paseo de la Cruz y el Mar. They have a pretty extensive menu featuring Arabic and Mediterranean food, along with several different kinds of burgers. My dad has always told me this restaurant has been around for ages probably close to 20 years and that one thing that has never changed is the quality of their food.

We already knew what we were going to order, but I still took a look through the menu out of curiosity. 👀 The prices were actually very reasonable, and the portions are seriously generous.

This time, instead of ordering the classic shawarma, I went with the Premium Mixed Shawarma (or at least I think that was the name sorry if I'm wrong 😅). It came with the classic ingredients like beef, chicken, caramelized onions, tomatoes, pickles, radishes, a little parsley, and mayonnaise. On top of that, it included pork and two side dishes. We chose falafel and a roasted red pepper spread. 🤤

I honestly can't put into words how delicious that shawarma was. Paired with the hummus, it tasted even better. The meat was incredibly tender, the vegetables were finely chopped, and every bite was perfectly balanced.

But if there's one thing that completely stole my heart, it was the roasted red pepper spread. 😭❤️ Oh my goodness. I think that and the hummus are officially my favorite sauces now.

Would I order it again? ABSOLUTELY. 💯 If you're ever in Anzoátegui and haven't tried this place yet, I definitely recommend giving it a chance.

Another thing I want to highlight is the service. 🤍 One thing I've always noticed is that most of the waiters are older gentlemen, and let me tell you there's no better service than theirs. They're always so kind, attentive, and genuinely make sure you're comfortable throughout your meal.

The atmosphere is also really peaceful and welcoming. 🌙 The night we visited happened to be the basketball championship game with Marinos playing, so there was this fun, energetic vibe in the restaurant that made the whole evening feel even more special.

This was my second time visiting El Amir Palace, and both experiences have been wonderful. 💛 I honestly have nothing negative to say, so if you're looking for a new place to eat in Anzoátegui, I definitely recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself.
