El pasado sabado 20 de agosto estuvimos de jornada medico social, para esta jornada estuvimos recogiendo fondos para poder trasladarnos hasta esta coimunidad, hicimos una rifa la cual pudimos vender toda para asi cancelar en transporte.

Last Saturday August 20th we were on a medical social day, for this day we were collecting funds to be able to move to this community, we did a raffle which we were able to sell all of it to pay for transportation.

También recibimos muchas donaciones de distantas fundaciones que nos ayudaron a tener medicamentos, ropa, suplementos vitaminicos que pudimos entregar y donar a la comunidad.

We also received many donations from different foundations that helped us to have medicines, clothes, vitamin supplements that we could deliver and donate to the community.

Todo comenzo a las 5 de la mañana cuando el transporte nos comenzo a recoger en nuestras casas ese dia estaba lloviendo muchisimo sin embargo nada nos detuvo.

Everything started at 5 am when the transport started to pick us up at our houses that day it was raining a lot but nothing stopped us.

Cuando llegamos a la comunidad nos recibieron de una manera muy amable, comenzaron sirviendo el desayuno, y luego de alli comenzamos a instalarnos, el equipo de pediatria donde participe, el cual estuvo conformado por 1 especialista y 5 medicos generales en total vimos 80 paciente.

When we arrived at the community we were received in a very friendly manner, they began serving breakfast, and after that we began to settle in, the pediatric team where I participated, which consisted of 1 specialist and 5 general practitioners in total we saw 80 patients.

Todos los niños era muy receptivos y uno de ellos se lelvo mi corazon un cariño enorme que me transmitio y eso es lo mejor de estas jornadas.

All the children were very receptive and one of them took my heart a huge affection that he transmitted to me and that is the best thing about these days.

La comunidad fue muy receptiva en total atendimos 343 personas entre los servicio de nutrición, pediatría odontología y medicina interna.

The community was very receptive and we attended a total of 343 people between nutrition, pediatrics, dentistry and internal medicine.

Todo salio excelente gracias a dios a pesar de la lluvia que hubo ese dia pudimos cumplir con la meta de atender a esta comunidad. Luego llego la hora del almuerzo que fue a eso de las 2 de la tarde de verdad que fueron muy atentos en este aspecto y nos dieron muchisima comidad.

Everything went excellent, thank God, in spite of the rain that day we were able to meet the goal of serving this community. Then it was time for lunch which was at about 2:00 in the afternoon and they were really very attentive in this aspect and gave us a lot of food.

Me gusta mucho participar en estas actividades a parte de que sigo en constante aprendizaje, poder aportar un granito de arena a las persona que mas lo necesitan es un regalo para el alma.

I really like to participate in these activities, besides the fact that I am constantly learning, to be able to contribute a grain of sand to the people who need it most is a gift for the soul.

Que bonita jornada, poder ayudar un poco a los demás, desde mi que hacemos, es algo noble. 80 personas fueron atendidas, 80 personas que hoy gracias a ustedes y a esta jornada se sienten mejor.
