Day 40 of Trading – 245% Profit and a Few Thoughts
Today was a good and relatively calm day.
I closed 8 positions, while one position is still open — unfortunately slightly in the red. I hope I can sort it out as soon as possible and go to sleep with a clear mind. 😄

My total profit for today was $415, which equals around 13.83% of my initial deposit of $3,000.
Today marks exactly 40 days since I deposited funds into my futures account. My current balance is $10,372, which means I am now at around 245% profit compared to my starting capital.
Over those 40 days, I have made approximately $7,372 in profit, which gives an average of about $184 per day.
When people only look at the numbers and the profits, it is easy to imagine that trading is a fun and simple game — or an easy way to make money.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Trading also means a lot of emotions, stress, sleepless nights, and sometimes a worse mood that can unfortunately affect your family and everyday life as well. Fortunately, those moments do not happen too often.
Despite all the emotions — both the bad ones and the good ones — I love what I do.
I genuinely enjoy it.
I cannot imagine a day without checking the charts, watching the market, and analyzing how the price is behaving. Over time, it has simply become part of my lifestyle.
Some people cannot imagine a day without turning on the TV, watching the news, or following a TV series that airs at the same time every evening.
I found my passion in the market.
The downside of spending more time on trading lately is that I have been going to bed much later. Because of that, it has been harder for me to focus on my plans related to lucid dreaming.
But I am not giving up.
It is still an important goal for me, and I hope I will finally find the right balance between trading, everyday life, and developing my interest in lucid dreaming.
At the end, I have one more question for you.
Do any of you use ChatGPT or other AI tools to improve the quality of your work or directly to make money?
Has anyone here spent more time learning about this topic?
I am especially interested in AI agents. Do you have any ideas or experience with monetizing them? Have any of you managed to build something with AI that actually generates income?
Recently, algorithms have been showing me more and more videos about artificial intelligence, and I have to admit that the topic has really caught my attention.
I would like to expand my knowledge and see what can actually be created with AI today.
I have a feeling that we are only beginning to discover the possibilities of this new technological “wonder of the world.” 😄

The only time I use AI is when I am confused about something, and I also verify the answer because sometimes AI gives wrong answers, I experience this sometimes ago when I was studying. But in all, I think AI tools are cool.

Yes, AI makes a lot of mistakes, so it’s worth understanding what you’re doing yourself so you can keep it in check.

I am also crazy about trading and exploring different strategies and I really enjoy it. However the way you take risks and trade is different from mine. I mostly try to follow a hedging-based trading approach. Of course the profit is lower but the risk of loss is also lower.

245% Profit seems insane. Well done.
Sometimes I ask it something like: ,,will my pc still run Witcher 4?'' ,,Is asking 50 eur too much for professional A3 print of my art?'' and so on. But I never show AI any image of my art(despite it asking for it every time I ask something art related). I write all my posts and comments on Hive myself just check for mistakes with google translate.
