Hello everyone!
The Zombie Arena contest has come to an end! I would like to thank everyone who participated and tried their skills in fighting zombies!
I managed to take first place in the ranking myself, killing 71 zombies. However, as the organizer, I'm not participating in the contest, so the prize goes to the player in second place!
🏆 The winner of the contest is @atnazo, who scored 67 points and wins 100 HIVE!

Once again, thank you all for participating and for your engagement! I'm really happy to see that there are people who want to play and help me develop Hive Town.

Halloween Is Coming to Hive Town! 🎃👻
Halloween is getting closer and closer, and the first monsters have already invaded our Hive Town! 👻
A truly dark event is waiting for us! Ghosts, monsters, pumpkins, and many other surprises! The entire town is turning into a Halloween world full of scary creatures and new attractions!
To celebrate, I've prepared another contest with a prize of 100 HIVE! 🏆
This time, it will be an activity contest where you can earn points through three different activities:
🎃 Pumpkin Watering – visit the town and water pumpkins to earn points!
🧟 Zombie Arena – fight zombies and earn points for killing monsters!
💀 Dark Ruins – face the dangers hidden inside the dungeons!
The top positions in each competition will earn points! So it's worth trying your skills in all three activities to collect as many points as possible for the main leaderboard!
And that's not all! A brand-new game will be coming to Hive Town very soon! 🎮
The event will last until Halloween, October 31st! After the event ends, all points will be counted and we'll find out who the winner is!

The most engaged person in developing and promoting Hive Town will receive a special prize!
It will be a special place of honor in our Hive Town! 🏰

I just started exploring the game today and was wondering if you could point me to a beginner’s guide or a post explaining the basics.
One thing that caught my attention is the three statues. What are they for, and what am I supposed to do with them?
I'd really appreciate some guidance on how to get started and what I should focus on first.

In creator house you can promote posts for 24h. You can just copy paste link with post which you think should get more rewards. Everyone can vote for 1 post with 1 vote. Top posts get better visibility and 1st post is on banner in the town.
Second thing statues just show most liked authors. Everyone can vote for 3 authors which should get there in creator rankings.
You have 2 mini games fps zombie 3d shoter.
You can explore ruins with archer this is second game.
There is event for watering pumpkin and playing these both games. Top 3 players get rewards in hive at the end of event - 2 weeks long.
Last thing you make quests for rozioo npc to build the apiary!
Ohh I forgot you can donate to next contest in contest goal, 100 hive is needed to run contest but whole Hive Community can donate to reach that goal.

I hope this game becomes far bigger than other games due to the ability to promote others and give them some eyes on their work and meet others via the creator house and stuff.
I love the games, but sadly cannot rise up the leader boards with my garbage mouse 🤣 but I like the community side of Hive even more (although the defence game is very cool! 15 waves... Wow 😫)

I want see more people in the town so then holding 1st place in leaderboard will be not easy.
Anyway I surpassed rozioo score in dark ruins now this is my favourite mini game!
My 1st score is like 10 seconds faster than 2nd!
So let's dominate like in the Splinterlands 👊😎

Wow! 9 years on Hive! Nice going, still here, still creating, still investing... That tells us something man.
Many disappeared, using the downward Hive-price graph as a slide to get out of here., good luck to them, they weren't up to the task or were uninterested in building a solid, engaged, warm community.
Or they had their eyes on the wrong prize!
Winning does not always appear dressed as success, sometimes it takes the 'churn' of the wrong people out of the ecosystem and for the right ones to be a greater percentage of the community for magnificent things to happen.
Eventually, something incredibly useful to a far wider number of non Hivers will be built on our blockchain, they may well come from far and wide, who knows? Why couldn't Hive Town play a sizable role in that?
Competitions are cool, who doesn't like to battle others? Who doesn't like to let their competitive streak run wild for a little spell?
However, there is something far bigger at play here! A community, from a community, within a community, built on the back of forming a stronger, more cohesive, more together community.
Would anybody like to place a bet on whether I am going to say community again???

Exactly! Hive Town is not just about competition, but above all about building a community within a community. Bringing people together so they can get to know each other and promote their posts.
9 years is a really long time... Despite all those years, I still came back. I came back and took a big risk by buying a large amount of HIVE. I hope that in a few more years, I'll look back on this as a good memory.
