League of Legends Classic!

League of Legends (LoL for short) is an extremely popular, free-to-play MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game developed by Riot Games. Two teams of five players compete against each other on a map, and their main objective is to destroy the enemy base (called the “Nexus”). Each player controls a unique character (champion) with special abilities.
The game features over 140 different champions divided into categories such as mages, marksmen, fighters, assassins, supports, and “tanks” (characters capable of withstanding heavy damage). During each match, players earn gold and experience points for defeating minions, destroying structures, and eliminating opponents. The gold earned allows players to purchase items that boost their character’s stats. Matches typically last between 30 and 40 minutes. Players can choose from the main lanes: top, mid, bot, and jungle.
The game has enjoyed great popularity from the very beginning, and that popularity has remained steady. The most similar competitive game of this type is Dota. I discovered League of Legends a very long time ago. I was 15 or 16 at the time. I remember it like it was yesterday when I stumbled upon this game by accident. Excited, I told my friends about it the next day when I went to school. All my friends liked the game, so they joined me, and we played together. In the years that followed, the game became really popular, and I got to know it from the very beginning.
The game has evolved significantly. The developers improved the graphics and kept adding newer and newer characters to the game. Players were absolutely thrilled about this because gameplay became more diverse. As a result, it also became more challenging, since we had more characters to learn how to play—characters that could easily outplay us.

Players, being players, often get nostalgic. The developers of League of Legends listened to their players and created League of Legends Classic.
Many of us missed the old days, and now we’ll be able to go back to the old game mode.
What is League Classic, and which era of LoL does “Classic” refer to?
League Classic is more of a “greatest hits” collection than a single slice of history. This means it includes elements from various seasons, such as all summoner spells (yes, even Fortify), nearly all items from League’s first few years—including Atma’s Spear and Ice Hammer—as well as plenty of champion skill sets from before they were reworked.
In the Classic version, champions have more distinct strengths and weaknesses, projectiles and dashes are slower, and there are more stuns (hurray!). That doesn’t mean the game is easier, though. Each of your spells costs more and deals significantly more damage than in modern League. Because of this, you’ll need to be more strategic about when and how you engage your opponents.
Here's a list of the characters that will be available in the new mode. It's a true classic of the genre. When I see this lineup of heroes, it takes me back to the good old days.

The old system of adding skills through runes will return to the game. New players have no idea what it is or what it can do.

The new mode will be available on July 29. So there are only a few days left. I'm really looking forward to it.
Are there people on Hive who play League of Legends?
Or maybe there are some who have been playing this game since the very first seasons?!
