For some time now, I have been working on a small project connected with Hive.
At first, it was just a simple idea:
What if Hive was not only a website, but also a small virtual town where we could meet and spend time together?
That idea slowly started to grow… and today I would like to invite you to test the beta version of Hive Town! 🏘️🐝
This is still an early version of the game. Some things may not work perfectly yet, some mechanics will be changed, and many new features are still only planned.
And that is exactly why I need your help.
I would like you to enter the town, explore it a little, try the available activities and tell me what you think about everything.
I created the entire website with the help of ChatGPT. For me, it is still hard to believe that nowadays all you really need is some motivation, an idea and a vision to create something cool.
🏘️ Welcome to Hive Town
Hive Town is a small interactive world inspired by the Hive community.
You can freely move around the town, visit buildings and discover different activities connected with Hive.

The central place is the Honey Market, where your adventure begins.
You can move using WASD or simply click the place where you want your character to go.
Different buildings lead to different features and mini-games.
🏠 Creator House
The Creator House is a place for Hive authors.
Players can discover posts submitted by other users and vote for their favorites.
Posts remain visible for a certain amount of time, and the most popular creator can be highlighted as the town leader.
In the future, I would like this to become an interesting place for discovering people and content that we might normally never come across.
Post promotion used to be very popular on Discord, but I wanted to try something different.
I want you to be able to promote yourself directly inside the game.
🍺 The Hive Tavern
Every proper town needs a tavern. 😄
The Hive Tavern works as a small guide to the world of Hive Town.
It is a place where new players can learn how the town works and discover what can be found there.
🎁 Contest House
The town also has a building dedicated to community contests and events.
In the future, I would like to organize different types of events here, together with shared prize pools connected with Hive.
One of the current ideas is a community goal of 100 HIVE for a contest prize pool.
🏆 Creator Ranking
Players can also choose their favorite creators.
Everyone receives a limited number of votes and decides who deserves them.
My goal is for the ranking to become more than just a simple table — I want it to be a real part of the Hive Town world.
The top three creators will have their own monuments in the town, giving them more visibility and recognition.
⚔️ Dark Ruins
If peacefully walking around the town becomes a little too relaxing… you can always leave the city gates. 😈
Outside Hive Town, you will find the Dark Ruins — a small dungeon where you can take on a challenge, defeat enemies and try to find treasure.

This part of the game is still being developed, so I am especially interested in your feedback about the difficulty, movement and overall gameplay.
And as a little extra motivation, a contest connected with this location will be announced soon.
🧟 Zombie Arena
And yes…
somehow, zombies also found their way to Hive Town. 😂
Zombie Arena is an experimental FPS-style mini-game where you can grab a weapon and try to survive wave after wave of zombies.
It is something completely different from the peaceful town, but that is exactly what I wanted.
I did not want Hive Town to become just a walking simulator.
Over time, I want to add different types of mini-games and activities.
I am a huge fan of FPS games myself, so there was no way I could leave something like this out. 😄
A contest will also appear here. The three best players will receive prizes — but more about that soon…
🧪 Why am I sharing the game already?
Because I can test the game myself hundreds of times…
but I will never use it exactly the same way as another player.
Someone will click something I never clicked.
Someone will find a bug.
Someone will come up with an idea that never crossed my mind.
And thanks to feedback like this, the game can become much better.
So if you decide to visit Hive Town, I would really like to know:
Did you find any bugs?
Was anything confusing?
Which part of the town did you like the most?
What would you add?
Would you come back to Hive Town if the town continued to grow?
Even a short comment would be very helpful to me.
⚠️ Remember — this is still a beta
Hive Town is still under development.
Some features are experimental, some systems will be changed, and many new ones will be added in the future.
At this stage, what I mainly want to find out is whether people enjoy the idea of a small game world built around the Hive community.
If the feedback is positive, I already have many ideas for the future:
multiplayer, more buildings, more mini-games, community events, achievements, contests with prizes and many other things.
This little town can become much bigger over time.
The main goal is to bring people together, give users another way to promote their own content, encourage friendly competition and allow players to win rewards through mini-games.
I’m not doing this for profit; it’s not a massively ambitious project created by a professional developer. I’m doing it because I have an idea and want to have some fun here on Hive, and AI gives us the opportunity to do just that.

The only time I have ever taken a penny off-chain is for charitable causes or to support Hive games, they have such a chance at swelling the Hive community and one of them will be the one to take off and become HUGE!
Why not Hive Town?
Sooner or later, someone will build something upon this blockchain that sends it to the stratosphere.
This community is far too good, filled with genuine relationships and connections to go un-noticed by the masses forever! 🚀👨🚀 💀👾
I’m not really aiming to conquer the world with my games and city... I view it more as a bit of fun with AI and a way to bring people together on Hive. I’d like them to have a cool, unique space where they can compete and promote their content. Personally, I really like the fact that you can vote for your favorite author.
Clicked a lot of buttons, tested the post feature and transfer feature, all seeming good so far.

At first, I thought the game will be coming a little bit late from the date I heard about it, but I guess I was wrong.
The city has a cool future, I love it, I tested some things and I really love the games, just that the zombie Arena don't work on my phone, I think It's desktop only, I would love to play it, but its not for me. I love the other game and I think its a nice space.
Unfortunately, for now, these are only PC games. Competitions for them are coming soon.
In the city, you can vote for your favorite creators, promote your own posts, and vote for the best ones.

Good work so far! I clicked around a bit and took a look at the initial elements. The playful visual style reminds me of games from my childhood, such as Speri's Legacy or Zelda. Unfortunately, I have to head to the doctor now, so I won't be able to check out "Zombie Arena" and "Dark Ruins" until later. Looking forward to it.
The mini-games are an add-on featuring prize-based contests. I would like people to use the city to promote their posts and vote for their favorite authors. The three favorite authors have their own statues in the city.

The zombie or dungeon aread could get decorated with some logos from our former sister chain, to get some lost place vibes :)

The Zombie Arena is actually very interesting. I tried playing it because I enjoy this kind of game, but the difficult part for me was figuring out how to get the weapon and how to actually kill the zombies coming at me. I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to press or do. Apart from that, I really enjoy visiting the game.🙂
If you played from mobile this game could not work here yet.
Right now it work with desktop only.

I have old laptop with broken dedicated graphic card so I was able to play but I got freezes and lags. My intel hd is too weak for 3D games 😅

This is such a cool concept! Especially the town leaders and tavern seems fun. For dungeon, I expected it to have something of memory related to our former chain. Maybe an image or a metaphor. Hive town seems to be a fun and interesting experience.
That’s how I’d like people to promote themselves in the city and for favorite creators to gain visibility. You can vote for them—it’s a way to promote your account for free.

I think the game is really good. I love the frontend design as its easy to navigate. One thing i love about the frontend is how the avater moves to any gameplay mode you choose. You did a fantastic job here. I only played the zombie mode, so, the suggestions i would give is based on the zombie mode.
Overall, the game is really nice.
