Benefit of Targeting the Backline. And Focus Chest | Splinterlands

Many players make strong defenses on the front lines of the team and put monsters on the backline that can be useful to the team, such as the Tank Heal Ability. That's why targeting monsters in the backline works well in most battles, increasing my chances of beating many teams, even very powerful ones. I use monsters with Sneak, Snipe, Opportunity and Scattershot Abilities to target the team's backline. These monsters can give me great support in their strategy and can play a big role in winning battles.

  • Scattershot : Ranged and Magic attacks hit a random enemy target.
  • Sneak Ability : Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.
  • Snipe Ability : Targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.
  • Opportunity Ability : Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.

  • Even Stevens: Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.
  • Holy Protection: All Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.

Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, I saw that the opposing player had quite powerful cards. And I knew I was going to fight against a level 6 summoner in this battle. And I knew I was going to fight against a level 6 summoner in this battle. I thought it would be more advantageous to target the opposing team's backline in this battle, and I determined my strategy accordingly. Since I think that Monsters with Sneak, Scattershot, Double Strike and Blast abilities can be very effective in this battle, I took care to team up with monsters with these abilities. My strategy worked quite well in this battle and my team was able to win this battle. I recommend you to watch this great battle from the Battle Link, I hope you like it.

  • Divine Shield Ability : The first time the Monster takes damage it is ignored.
  • Double Strike Ability : Monster attacks twice each round.
  • Blast Ability : Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.

Couldn't load up the battle link due to poor connection around me.
Though, i don't understand much on how this game works, but i think attacking from the back seems great. You seems to be a very good player, by studying previous games of your opponents, that helps in giving the details on how your opponent operates.
Still wish i could learn more about the splinterlands game.
